Hey everyone, In this video I will walk you through the process of creating a poster design using thumbnail sketches with Affinity Designer. Before I begin working on a design project, I always felt that creating thumbnails is an essential part of the creative process because by sketching out thumbnail layouts, I am able to play around with different layout ideas and work more efficiently later in the design stage. It may not be for everyone but I hope that this video tutorial is helpful 😊. Thanks, Mike

Used Affinity Photo, Designer and Publisher to make a poster for a digital racing event. I´ve used the Adobe software for 12+ years so this is my first project using the Affinity software, it took some time to get used to it but liked it alot! Alle cars where separate screenshots and I've worked them in one image. The main design can be used in several different sizes, like a social media posts or a wallpaper. I've used the same techniques as I used for this poster I made a year ago for the real life counterpart of this racing series. I hope you like the design

affinity photo Retro style poster illustration [AP]
Frankentoon Studio posted a topic in Share your work
Hello there! Just wanted to share a recent commission I finished a couple of days ago using Affinity Photo and a couple of custom brushes. The Ad agency wanted to have something in the 80's horror movies fashion, with a couple kids fighting against each other during a roadtrip from hell. I really don't know what will be the final use for this, but I had lots of fun making this type of illustration. Any comment good or bad, will be welcome as always! And here are some previous layout sketches. The original title was a little bit weird haha...- 19 replies
