According to Affinity Photo 2 Help but once the pinned document has been opened, the pin gets removed, making pinning pretty useless. Affinity Photo v 2.10 (but I've seen this behaviour before) on Windows 10 Recent Pinned Docs.mp4

Hi guys, I have been using affinity to make small flyers or brochures, so I have basic knowledge on affinity. Right now I need to do a catalog with around 500 products, and every week are coming new products. So it is quite important that images stays linked or pinned on the right text with the right sizes; and the tittles change of page correctly. I have already prepared a style text, pinning images and forms. What would be the best practice? Where could I found like a small guide for catalogs. At the moment when I added a new product sometimes the image scale change, Dont know why and this take me a lot of time to correct again and I need to move manually the tittles that fit with the products. Thanks a lot!!

Today I alt+dragged a group do duplicate it. The group was pinned to a text (and with wrapping applied). As soon as I started dragging it, the copy was stretched to incorrect size. If I alt+drag the item un-pinned it copies correctly. I tried with other kind of grouped objects and all of them gets distorted. It happens on single shapes too. Steps to reproduce behaviour: mage a group of objects (In my case, a rectangle and two text boxes) Apply a text wrapping and place over the text (In my case a squared wrapping) Pin the group to the text Alt-drag the group to make a copy. The cloned group gets horizontal distortion I've attached a publisher document with the example used. alt-drag-issue.afpub Publisher 1.8.4 MacOS 10.15.7

Windows 10 Home 1903, Publisher 1.7.2.471. I have a table which, when pinned Inline into a text frame, behaves strangely when the text frame is moved, and under other situations. See the attached GIF and watch the table after Policy Number shrink when the text frame is moved. I’ve also attached the corresponding AFPUB. Try opening it and watching what happens to the same table when the document first opens, it shrinks. The pinned table above it - Membership Number - does not change in the same way. Also, (later in the GIF) when I select the Membership Number table and then change the Offset of the Pin (or just change the Offset of the Policy Number table), the Policy Number table changes. I would say this was a bug as I would guess it’s not what most users would expect. I’d be happy to be proved wrong though.
