Spent 3-4 hours on a photo project to find that every time I try to edit the photo after a few seconds it crashes. Had to flatten image, export, then bring back into affinity as a flat image to continue editing. Very frustrating

Here is one I'm calling 'Taken', created on Affinity photo for iPad. Made up of 4 or so images. I've not spent much time using Photo lately due to working on the books in Designer but the iPad version makes it so much more fun especially when using Apple Pencil. Allan Thompson

Just for fun I wanted to see how well AP can mask hair, I must say I'm very impressed with the results. Although not perfect, it's the best result I have had after many tries with other software. Kudos Affinity!

Hi all, I recently took a picture of a beautiful chameleon. I removed the background using AP and added a different one (please see attached file) I'm still in the process of learning AP and would like to manipulate that image so that it looks real. Would it be possible for someone to create a tutorial that targets this task? I searched online and couldn't find one. Thank you in advanced. chameleon.afphoto -

What I love about compositing is the ability to make it look as natural as possible, of course there are times where its obvious and that's the look your going for. Love how easy Affinity photo made this for me. This is made up of 4 pictures, love the black and white look I was able to achieve. Allan
