Hi, I'm new to affinity and still learning. Though I find it miss a simple feature to resize canvas by percent of the document. I use this feature a lot in other graphic tools which save me time to manually calculate the units everytime. Thanks for the awesome product. -
I might've missed it but couldn't find anything on the forum about this. Is there a way to create a new guide based on percentage? I often like to create either a simple crosshair (50%h, 50%v) or sometimes a rule of thirds grid (33.3%h, 66.6%h, 33.3%v, 66.6%v). As far as I can tell the only way to create grids is to drag them from the ruler or use the Guides Manager which appears to only let me use pixel precision, rather than percentages. Thanks! -
Hi guys, Thank you for this amazing software! I'm a new user, and I'm enjoying it a lot! I would like to ask you though to please allow fractions of percent in the Levels. Adjusting the levels in 1/100 steps is just not precise enough to make a series of images match color-wise. Today I spent the whole morning trying to make five images look consistent, nudging 1 percent back and forth in Levels, but eventually gave up and exported them with quite some difference in colors. -
Hi, would love to be able to record percentage changes in macros. For example change canvas size: 200% x 200% and record this as a percentage in a macro. (I know that you can update the canvas by 200%. This is simply a request to Affinity that the percentage is recored in a macro and not (for example) the resulting px result). Thanks -
Please add the ability to the, "Resize Document" and "Resize Canvas" using a percent (eg: 50%, etc.).

Hi, how can I set the height of an object as a %? Doesn’t seem to be a % option along with the px, pt etc options in the transform panel... -
Would it be possible to add percentual resizing to the batch processing? At the moment *50% doesn't do anything and simply 50% is converted to 50px. Thanks

In document / canvas resize i'm missing Percents between units in a list. I'm happy that i can type it on keyboard and it recalculate itself, but what about newbies looking for calculator??? Cheers! -
I wasn't able to find out how to set the ruler in percent units wich is really a big need for me. When I go to the zoom or ruler I do not see "percent" as an option. Thanks

Hello, I'm playing with symbols and constraints to make some kind of a framework. Both work well but I'm facing a problem with rounded edges. They are in percent and I need them to be in px, because each time I resize, let's say, a form input, it resizes the rounded edges too. Purchased the application a few days back for my new iPad Pro and I LOVE IT. It replaces all the apps Adobe offers on the App Store and makes me feel at home. As an Adobe Creative Cloud user, one litte thing a feel is missing from Affinity Photo is the on-canvas rulers but more importantly when adding guides to be able to select percentages as a measurement. E.g when on the horizontal line I want to add a guide 35% in, if the canvas is 2000px in height, the guide would be 700px down.

We need this for macros. Hi, can we have a percent option as a unit everywhere? For example, you would have a percentage option here (resize canvas). I would like it if you could change the rulers to % or sometimes I need to re-size the canvas in percentage terms too. I know you can do this by "whatever units the document is using, just type 75%" but it does not remember a percentage in the macro, just the unit value. That is why I would like to see % as an option everywhere. Thanks.

Change of image size with percentages?

Hi, I am using anamorphic lenses to take photographs and I need to change the size of the image in percentage, that is, instead of units of measurement (cm, pixels, etc.) it would be nice to put the % that will be magnified. In my case it is 133% horizontal and 100% vertical (1.33x anamorphic lens) I think it's not a difficult feature to implement. Cheers. David -
I would like to scale an object by percent, rather than have to do the math to change the x and/or y.

While using Affinity Designer today I noticed in the "Character" dialog that a strange ‰ symbol is used instead of % for Tracking and Kerning. Why? I've never seen that before in Illustrator or any other app. Is it a mistake?
