  1. Apologize if this is know/expected but I could not find anything about these fields in my searching. Took me a long time to figure out what is happening with my people/face tags that were randomly missing but it turns out it wasn't random, it was jpg files I had edited with Affinity after tagging. I've attached shot of a 'person' before and after a quick edit with Affinity and a Save. Both the face region and the people tag is missing after the save. Same thing happens with an export. Some of the affected fields are "region Person Display Name" "Region Name" " Region Type" and Region Rectangle (I tried to attach the original documents but it keeps inserting images into the body of the fields, so let me know what I should include/export to help highlight the issue if it is not already known).
  2. It's happening now, isn't it ... ?!
  3. I've been using Designer everyday now for a few years, and occasionally I use photo to edit and touch up photos for work. I want to start enhancing up some family photos to go up round the house. Any general tips and/or recommendations as to which tutorials to have a look at first?
  4. I used the stack function to eliminate people from a scene. However quite a number is still visible, albeit translucent, ghostlike. Some are completely eliminated. Those who did not move are clealy visible as they should. How can I get rid of the ghosts?
  5. I am looking for an easy way to blur some little parts in a photo. My classic car photos have sometime people in the background. To garble the faces I want to blur these. Is there an easy way to do it?
  6. Hi again, I took about 500 photos over the weekend of a private family function and I wished to know how to edit the photos so that I can achieve the effect as shown in the screenshot below: Is there a fast or easy way to do it without much fuss? And in a way that I can duplicate the effect either using presets in develop persona or using batch processing in photo persona Thank you
  7. Inspired by a client commission to create a 3D shopping centre. Ive wanted for a long time to create a cityscape. Its taken me about 3 solid days work split over a couple of weeks. Here is the work 90% complete. Just need to add people an alien and a few cars. EDIT: now added an X-Wing, Tardis, Dalek, A-Team Van, Yoshi Egg, Back to the Future Hover board, IT crowd man, DelBoy Van, and some Mario blocks for good measure.
  8. Hi everyone. I am new to Affinity Designer. I really love drawing in flat color vectors at the moment, so this is my first attempt at using AD. I didn't realize there was anything in the help files at first so it's mostly just trial and error. The interface is fairly intuitive but I admit I am having some challenges figuring out how to keep line & fill colors consistent. I'd love to be able to select a line or shape and simply eye-dropper from an existing one. And I can't seem to figure out how to drag colors into my swatches palette and there are a few things I'd love to see added but I'll look for a suggestion thread here :) I really love the software already. I hope you like this. Thanks for looking!
