Until a vector pattern function comes along, I have adopted this method to create high res raster patterns. I don't think you can see the differences in raster and vector unless you zoom in really close, but who's gonna do that to your artwork. Anyway, my video shows a simple pattern. Enjoy!

Noticed that if I open a Illustrator file that has patterns in it, look to be "digitized" in AD. just curious if there would ever be a fix. Or at least a rasterization of the patterns once opened in AD?

any plans for better pattern support? Especially pattern overlay layer style? I would welcome some way to store and organize patterns same way I can organize brushes. But most importantly I would be able to work with PSDs with pattern overlay. In current version those just won’t show up in AD so I cannot work with some PSDs properly.
