  1. The patch tool in the Photo editor within Publisher will not work properly. It is very frustrating. When I make my selection with the tool, it immediately jumps to a different place (usually about an inch to the left and up a bit). So, it is useless. What could be causing this problem and is it fixable? I have updated to the latest version of Photo, and the problem persists. Thank you for your input!
  2. Hello, I'm trying Affinity Photo and would like to know if it is possible to edit several (three in this case) images at the same time. These images hold texture information for a 3D model, and are therefore all easily aligned. There are some issues caused by holes in the texture that I'm trying to resolve using the Patch Tool, and was wondering if it was possible to apply this change on all three Images simultaneously. Each image using itself as the source and targeting the same spot on itself? (Attached Image 1-3: Color, Normal, Ambient Occlusion --- Image 4: Desired Patch for all images)
  3. Every time when I use(MacBook Pro 2012) Patch tool, Affinity Photo 1.10 crash!!!
  4. Hi, i got a corrupted file while using the patch tool. The file is private, if you can provide a private upload link i can share it with affinity staff only. Used 5 TIF files with perspective filter and masks used a pixel layer atop for final tweaking with patch tool when the beta stumbled. Luccily, a have a stored version before and after the crash. As soon as i swicth from pacth tool to hand/move tool the file ets corrupted.
  5. I use Affinity Photo with the pen on a Lenovo A940 touchscreen. Since the update to 1.8 the patch tool does not work any more with the pen. After drawing the selection and moving to the source, it behaves normally until I click to apply the source. Instead of applying the source the selection is lost, so nothing changes. I can get around this only when I apply the source with the mouse instead of the pen. This is pretty cumbersome, and I would appreciate to get this fixed.
  6. Hi, I Use Affinity Photo 1.7.2 on my Mac Mojave 10.14.1 In recent times whenever i use the patch tool on a photo and if the area is large it crashes my Affinity photo RAM usage is set at 9216 MB Please help, Thank You
  7. Hi! I've got some issue with Patch Tool. When I'm using it, my photo in the place I choose to replace, becomes blurry. It looks so if I was changing the transparent settings to low, but that's not true. I have no idea what I could do with this problem. Have any one of you got issue like this one?
  8. In this video, you will see how to use patch tools in affinity photos and how to remove unwanted content from any photo, Its very easy, Pick up the patch tool and draw a selection around the area you want to patch, then move the cursor away to the area you want to use as the source for the patching, then click the left mouse button to apply it to that area when you are happy with the preview. I hope you like it.
  9. Hi, i’m using an iPad Pro 12.9” and iOS 11 the most recent version, plus the most recent version of Affinity Photo. i’ve noticed That when I use the Patch Tool or the Healing brush tool do more than just their usual duty and also slightly blur the part of the image I use them to paint over. It kind of kills the detail of the picture. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a setting that effects this? often times I use the frequency separation filter and when I do, my hope is that the high frequency layer will remain in clear detail, but the Healing brush or and patch Tool just blur everything...
  10. The Healing Brush, Patch, Blemish Removal and Inpainting Tools will not work after I apply a layer. For example, I attempted to use the Frequency Separation as outlined in the Affinity tutorial: https://affinity.serif.com/en-us/tutorials/photo/ As soon as I applied the Frequency Separation Filter, however, the tools would not work. I followed the instructions to the letter and every time I added a layer the tools stopped working. I had the same issue whenever I opened and worked with other layers. The tools only worked if I used them on my photo before opening any layers. What am I missing or doing wrong?
