  1. Hi friends, Now that I have purchased the Affiniy Photo Inhad dreamed that this one of my former questions would be answered by the working of the app. ut I am desappointed for is not. I am longing to get the selection outline being softened by a slight blurring, but as much as I repeat the action, select-shrink-invert selection-apply blurring....the result is that the blurring does affect the whole shape and. not the outline that is outside of the "marching ants" I have followed a moderator's instructions or tips and the hing does happen again and again, Can anyone have tried to do this action and succeed? I would appreciiate, again a bit of. help in this, Is important for my conpositions and though I coulld refine the outlines with Photoshop...mmmm....the thing is to get ride of it as much as possible...you see. Thank you so much in advance. Rosa
  2. Hi I posted the same question before and I'm not too sure if I'm going the right direction... Any steps after this or advise will help a lot. I also don't know how to get rid of the selection brush lines after using it to color certain part of the drawing.... NEW-MERMAID OUTLINE.afdesign
  3. Hi there, Would anybody else find it useful to have a key command to hide all vector outlines & nodes (& bounding boxes too) without deselecting the item, nor changing tools? It's easier to judge your final result without the distraction of the "back-room mechanics" on top of your stroke. I remember using that kind of Hide command back in Adobe days. Just pressing Spacebar for a momentary Hand tool _almost_ does the trick. But not if you're adjusting the item's stroke or brush or layer fx properties in a dialog – then Spacebar doesn't work. So you have to judge your adjustments with the nodes & outlines obscuring your edges (with Pen or Node tool selected, at least). And if you switch to a different tool that hides outlines & bounding box, then your pen or node tool parameter ribbon goes away. All these issues would be resolved with an additional View ->View Mode: Artwork/Result Only. Thanks in advance for considering it!
  4. Thanks you guys so much! I just happened to notice that with the beta, I can now use command + Y to see outlines and as well you added shortcuts for other views too. That is great, now if only there was a "Hide/Show All" menu option (as well a shortcut for it too) I would be ecstatic!
  5. Started as a quicksketch with the 1st Beta, now finished it. Shortly before I got it ready I saw the POP-Flowers showed a strange gritty effect at the inner side of the outline (before they were crisp). The new tapered vector brushes still tend to behave funny ;) When changing the linecolor of an object using the group-effect and hitting UnDo the flying menus greyed out again. Nothing lost, AD is a real workhorse )))
  6. Since it is rather difficult to impossible to see white objects on white paper, is there a way to view the vector lines in an outline mode?
