  1. Today I tried every way to edit a 360 picture in the equirecangular live projection it works fine BUT it is all destructive! SO for this work I have to go back to Photoshop I already abandoned for good (at least I thought), this is very sad because I love the Serif programs - especially Affinity Photo. Please do something in that regard otherwise keep up the good work greetings Schwabihabi
  2. Hello everyone ! Well i will try to make it short, today ! With all recents improvements brought into Affinity line of product, i believe it is time for Serif to develop what i would call smart layers. Well this smart layers would be similar to what one have on photoshop (smart object) but will be more flexible and would allow users who convert from Adobe products to not lose it all: Smart layer would : a- bring more non destructive possibilities as when we uses the develop persona Case: i open a a photo and switch to develop persona then do my thing there, the minute i click Develop the software should actually not apply all those tuning liek it does now but instead convert the photo into a smart layer and embed all settings in there as sub Adjust. layers or Live Adjust.layer allowing us to fine tune it later if wanted. b- handle smart objects from PS and make it possible to fine tune them or even better convert them (only convertible functions) into what we actually have and use on AfPhoto then allow users to continu and finish their work started on PS with AfPhoto with ease. c- help us go beyond what we do and actually make it possible for AfPhoto users to create Dynamic Mockups that would be used among all 3 softwares and even exported for use with PS but discarding non compatible stuffs also allowing to open and process Mockups crreated with PS without losing anything. implementing Smart Layers would actually open to new possibilities and this is only a glimpse of what i think it could be, anyone here more talented or aware of stuffs then i do should had inputs here to help the Dev's to figure it out even better. Blessings
  3. Hello Everyone ! Would ask for more Non-Destructive capabilities to be added to Affinity Photo. There are great initiative taken with certain tools using a blank pixel layer but i believe more needs to be implemented and documented. i'm first thinking about : The Tone Mapping Persona: this is a great place for making our work better but it's only works in a destructive way (maybe i don't how to do it) but it would be great if a tone map can be added to a mask or a blank pixel layer then we can chose from there to map only a certain area/object etc of our photo/picture/ Development Persona: Great place to spend time working on better picture but also everything there is destructive, here i propose that one applied, our development to appears on sub or top layers similar to filter or mask or whatever dev's may find then from there we can mask this or that or simply make it possible continue where we left it in case we click the development persona again. Same thing should be applied to Liquify persona too. in fact, more Non-Destructive is okay and will be well received. if anyone knows how to do deep Non-Destructive works and/or know where to find tutos that talks about, please share ! Blessings !
  4. Okay ! here comes the proposition or question. I've noticed everything or all tone map we apply to a pixel layer (let's say i merged visible and decided to apply tone map to it) that operation is still destructive. I mean, tone mapping is very helpful but would be great if it become non-destructive. Okay maybe i'm missing a way to do that but i always : merged visible and applied tone mapping from that thus preserving the other layers ! if there is a way to tone map non-destructively please let me know if not yet then please Serif, make it happen. Blessings !
  5. Sometimes it might be a good idea to crop the picture early in the workflow. Is there a a way to readjust the crop later, without loosing all the work done?
  6. Just purchased AP, and have been going thru the video tutorials (which are helpful so far.) When opening a RAW file Making adjustments is fairly intuitive. ( )My question is when I'm done editing the RAW file to end the session to I click on the DEVELOP button (top right corner)? If yes, are the adjustments permanent (destructive) to the original RAW file? If yes, please advise how to make non permanent edits to the original RAW file. Do you see a RESET button in your future (ala LR)?
