  1. Just tested the 1.6.5 beta with raw (full-size) images from my new Nikon D850. It will open them, but takes nearly forever to develop. Not sure if the support just isn't there yet, or whether this is simply a function of the raw developer not being fine-tuned. I know the beta preceded the release of the Camera, but with so few RAW developers working with the D850 NEF files, it would be a real market coup to get this support built in quickly. Adobe CC ACR supports it (sort of, crummy color rendition), but LR doesn't. The only RAW developer that SEEMS to fully support the D850 is On1 RAW.
  2. Hi AF team, I recently bought a Nikon Coolpix B700 and Affinity Photo as an alternative to Lightroom. I can't begin learning AP because when I import my RAW images they have a pink/purple hue that ruins the image. I am using AP 1.5.2.69 on Windows 10 Pro x64. I will attach a screen shot of the issue. Unfortunately my raw images are over 20 MB a piece so here they are hosted on dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/86g4v2bq821kux1/AAAVcOkfT1PHdaw5QJHYFkQ2a?dl=0 Oddly when I uploaded them to dropbox the render in dropbox was also distorted with a pink discoloration. I have no idea what is going on, is there a setting on my camera that could be causing this? Any jpeg images I take appear fine in all applications. Thanks for any help
  3. Recently bought Affinity photo and been using it to edit RAW photos taken on my Nikon D3100. No problems when looking at photos in camera or in affinity. Just upgraded to a Nikon D750 and found that when i open the photos in Affinity they are much much darker and extremely washed out compared to when viewed in camera. Does any one know how to fix this difference that Affinity is showing??
  4. When trying to open a Nikon NEF file (D500), on the file - open, it lists the file numbers of the images, but when i click on one it displays..No preview available. In order to see the image i have to double click on the file number which then takes it into the develop persona. I have watched some you tube vids, that show that when a file number is single clicked it shows a preview to the right. As you can image, with no preview available, its a right pain trying to find individual images to work on. ta in advance.
  5. Hello, I cannot upload NEF files (Nikon's RAW). Affinity Designer stops working and switches off when I try to upload NEF files.
  6. Hello, I'm HalbLeiter. Today, I experienced strange problem in the EXIF of the image I've taken. I'm using Nikon Df and SIGMA Art 24-35mm f/2.0, and the images were taken with the RAW(.NEF) format. When I opened these images with the Affinity Photo, the lens data were shown (ex. focal length, aperture) but the lens maker and model were not shown. I also made questions to the lens maker(SIGMA) and camera maker(NIKON). Answer from SIGMA: This problem is related with the camera maker. Maybe the camera maker have no information about the newly released lens on the look-up table. However, we don't have permission to tweak the firmware on the camera. Please ask to the camera maker. Answer from NIKON: In original, we(NIKON) are not supporting 3rd party accessories such as lenses, batteries and speedlights. In other case, when the camera body cannot recognizes the lens, the lens maker is updating their firmware to make recognizable. Please ask to the camera maker. How do you think about this? _DSC7569.zip
