  2. I already posted this with the "normal" boolean operations. But the error also applies to a montage group v2-vector-montage-boolean-compound-pathes-fail.afdesign I have the same path objects for the "VIP". The rectangle is set to subtract and the letter "P" disapears. Additionally i did some basic shapes. I built the "donut" before by hand. Subtractiong two simple circles. The "VIP" instead is artistic text -> vectors (In Kurven umwandeln). The other boolean modes also produce some weird results for the "P". The handmade donut behaves as expected.
  3. Hi. After some practice with Affinity I created my (almost) first artistic montage. I don't know what to think about it, I just can't watch on it as 3rd person, you know So here it is, I did my best to make it as real as possible. However, if it's crap, then tell me. I would really like to know how good it is, and I mean how convincing that deer over there seems to be. I would appreciate if you wuould note this like x/10. Thanks a lot ;).
  4. Taken around October October 2017 on route 12 north west of Trinidad Colorado. This is a fantasy picture comprised of the actual road I took and another of the moon I took at a different time. This is basically a sky replacement with a little color change.
  5. Hello Everyone ! I would like to know what is the easiest way to match colors on a Photo Montage/Composition in Affinity Photo without going all this crazy and too technical way. Is Serif thinking about bringing in the Color Match Live adjustment ? it is needed and may help shorten too long workflow or steps. Blessings !
  6. This Easter I took advantage of free weekend access to Ancestry's website. After a lot of digging and cross referencing I finally found the evidence that Dad's mum's uncle was a Labour MP called Davie Logan, 1871-1964. I was told this about 10 years ago by her sister, but it was her son, my dad's cousin who posted this fact on a forum. It turns out that he was the leader Liverpool Labour Party and had a tower block named after him in his local area (Vauxhall Liverpool 5, otherwise known as Scotland/Scottie rd). This tower block has since been demolished. Housing in this part of the world, seems to either be a 100 years old or demolished after 30 years. I was born in 1970, so I never got to see either so I did some sleuthing and put the photos together, this way you can see how things have changed over the years. Just wondering, is there a better way of doing this in AD, as I haven't got APh? Logan towers then and now.pdf
