  1. Is it possible to hide the Marquee? Deselect with cmd+d is possible but i cant find the hide function. Thanks a lot. Marco
  2. I need to take a person from a picture and include it on my drawing. What are the best options for doing this? I don't need to do image corrections and other photo edition, just need to be able to clean the parts of the image I don't need. I tried with the marquee tool, and it seams to do the job, but I can't find any good tutorial on this. Thanks
  3. Hey guys, I have a suggestion for creating a uniform marquee from outside the art board. So currently, creating a uniform marquee (by holding ⇧) works in the same way it would if you didn't hold ⇧. When I'm dragging a marquee in (while holding ⇧) from outside the art board, I would expect the marquee to be uniform as it enters the art board. It seems like a small thing but also seems odd having the same result when I clearly chose to hold the modifier key. You could take a look at the way PS does it for an example. Thanks!
  4. Hey guys, Just picked up Affinity today after seeing it as Editor's Choice and then watching the video. It looks great. One thing that immediately struck me as odd, was that I couldn't snap a dragged guide to the edge of a marquee (like in PS). This is a big part of my work flow, as I'll measure out a specific size marquee and then place guides around it. I've read in a lot of posts while trying to find out if it's just me doing it wrong that the snapping system was undergoing changes. Is this still the case and could this be added if it's not already possible? It could just be that I'm doing it wrong, somehow.
