  1. Hey Guys! Just would like to share my new design developed for wirefox.co.uk - Logo and article pictures were created using Affinity. If you like my design, please let me know what you think! I am always open to all suggestions and critique. Fresh, creative digital services from an innovative Wirefox Digital Agency Birmingham
  2. Hello, I'm unsure if this is the right forum (LinkedIn would probably provide more personalised feedback, but I would prefer a variety of opinions). I am a graduate, with a Bachelor's of Tourism and Hospitality and a GradDip of Marketing. I have no design experience but am naturally creative and enjoy art, illustration and editing. I've been looking at kickstarting my career and thought to learn some sort of design software - to increase my practical hard skills in the event management/digital area. So this leads me to my questions: Which software - if not all would be
  3. Hi Affinity. Brilliant product (AP). I'm now switching from Photoshop. I want you folks to succeed and you need to keep on top of your marketing. Wikipedia, for example, doesn't reference the PC version or the latest developments. Many people will use this to figure out if Affinity is worth pursuing. I've just looked at the Photography Show next month in the NEC. It's a major event and people like Adobe and all the camera manufacturers will be there. You should have a stand! And doing presentations. (yes, it's expensive, but the marketing you'd get would be invaluable). Keep up the
Was tun?
  5. Hi Serif folks, This is a nitpick, but an important one. I'm honestly excited to share Affinity Photo and Designer with my design team at work, but four of the eight the sample documents in the Welcome panel are of retouched female models. Two of these four have the title "bang | Photography", giving them an overtly sexual connotation. This kind of social messaging may very well have a negative impact on these brilliant products' appeal to women designers—seeing this kind of imagery as "the kinds of things people create with Affinity Photo" may feel exclusionary to them. With regar
  6. A rather depressing set of results from Khoi Vihn's survey big enough to have motivated him to make it a microsite. AD seems completely absent. (I did my part, in fact the esteemed Mr Vihn wrote to me personally to find out more about Affinity. I think he rather wrote it off as just for Freehand devotees (which it is true, I do still carry a flame for FH - but am no longer trying to actually run). Hoping marketing can make a bit of a dent there, anyway.
