  1. So I was working on some photos the other night and my app completely crashed while I was trying to select something with the freehand selection tool with my feather set at 1 and the magnetic option on. Ever since I cannot locate the menus to use those settings at all
  2. Hi, I've looked everywhere! is there a magnetic lasso tool like the one in Ps? I can only find the free hand selection tool? Thank you, Helen
  3. I'm zoomed into an object, trying to outline it w/the magnetic lasso and having problems. 1) How do I scroll the page in order to advance my edge selection around the object w/o deselecting what I've done or having the mag. lasso dutifully create a path out to the scroll bars and back? 2) Is there any sensitivity setting for the mag. lasso's edge detection? Not infrequently, it selects the wrong edge no matter how carefully I try to trace the edge. 3) When the lasso does a bad job of finding the correct edge, how does one sequentially delete mistaken anchor points, to back-up one or more anchor points, and give it another chance to find the correct edge? I originally tried to use the Flood Select tool but I just couldn't adjust it to confine itself the area outside the object w/o picking up all sorts of random areas inside the object. Thanks, lettergothic
  4. Because of black in an image abutting the black background—which I want to delete, I can't use the wand to select the black background. In situations where I can use the wand, however, I select the background, hit delete, black disappears and I've got the desired checkerboard. However, when I select the object w/the magnetic lasso, invert the selection and hit delete to get rid of the b'ground—nothing happens; it doesn't delete the black b'grnd. How come it doesn't delete the b'ground like the wand selection? How do I delete the b'ground with the lasso selection? Thanks again, as always. lettergothic
