  1. This error indicates that you have been prompted to sign into the Mac App Store to confirm your purchase but your have cancelled the login prompt. Entering your login details when prompted will resolve the issue.
  2. Question: am on Mojave/10.14.6 with MAS versions of Designer and Photo installed. Upon opening 1.8.4 two days ago, I was greeted by a window that informed me that updates were available from the MAS, but--when I clicked the button to download--the MAS indicated that it could not download the updates. Not a problem for me. I'd bought the Mac versions of all three Affinity softwares a while ago (never bought Publisher from the MAS, only directly from the Affinity Store) from the Affinity store in anticipation that this might happen someday, so I deleted the MAS versions and downloaded the Mac .dmg files from the Affinity store. Back up and running. My question is this: did the MAS versions stop working on Mojave (and possibly below Mojave) when they were upgraded for Apple Silicon and Big Sur?
  3. I bought Designer and Photo (both iPad and Mac versions on the Mac App Store and Publisher on your site. I want Publisher also in the Mac App Store so it will be easier when moving to a new Mac (that's sooner than you think) Another Dev help me for the same thing with his app with a code. Can you do the same? If you need my info and purchase evidence I can give them to you. let me know if you can help me with that.
  4. UPDATE: This issue is now resolved in the 1.8.1 update which is now available from the Mac App Store.
  5. I am trying to update my Mac App Store version of Affinity Photo to version 1.7.2, which shows as available. When I click the update button, I get a message as shown – "This item is temporarily unavailable. Try again later." This has been going on for a few days now. Any suggestions how to fix it?
  6. Just curious about the perks of purchasing through the app store versus the website. On the website, I see an option for free content along with the purchase
  7. Hello! I have a similar problem! Yesterday I bought Affinity Designer in the Appstore for my Macbook Pro. But it does not work correctly. After I deleted and tried to install the trial version that I downloaded from the site. And it works great. How can I get a stable version from the site?

  10. First of all it's accusation in the title is silly but even more bizarre is what he says about Sketch. "There is no killer feature that really caught my attention in order to justify why I would use this over something like Sketch." I think almost everyone knows that Sketch isn't really a competitor to Affinity it's more of a compliment. Sketch was setting out to offer a solid replacement for Fireworks and we know that Affinity mostly has it's slight set on Illustrator. It just seems odd that people would vote that as the most helpful review even though it seems to miss the obvious. Seems fishy.
