  1. In some applications i use, i can click up and down buttons to go through all of the LUTs in a particular directory while previewing applying each over your image. This would be epic.
  2. If I understand the function right, I can do the following: 1. load a picture (Pic 1) 2. add an adjustment layer - LUT 3. press Infer LUT 4. choose an original file first (Pic 1) 5. choose an adjusted (with a different prog) file second (Pic 2) 6. close dialog box So far so good, the result now on my screen looks like Pic 2 and I have an adjustment layer on top of my original file Pic 1. When I now export this as a LUT, I would expect, when I load Pic 1 again and apply this LUT it would look like Pic 2 again, but it isn´t. Am I doing something wrong or the program or isn´t it meant to work like this?
  3. I made some LUT adjustments for AD and AP which I'd like to share with you. the attached Affinity file features embedded documents so that you can easily preview the effect of all curves on a single photo and then choose a curve that fits best/ gives you a good starting point/ idea. You can add them to your AP though opening the document, selecting each group, selecting the "LUT" adj, so that it's panel opens up, click "add preset". (I've made a feature request to make that easier) You can then access them by the "view > studio > adjustments" panel which is active by default (only available in AP) please don't overdo it :) blend modes, opacity and blend ranges can, and should be adjusted upon your needs :) for more information about such techniques you can have a look over here https://affinity.ser...er-amateur-pro/ LINK https://www.dropbox.com/s/wu96yk0j03kb0h0/MBd%201LUT.zip?dl=0 I really like the "Technicolor" one :) PS: similar presets for the "channel mixer" are available here PS: similar presets vor curves are available here
  4. Hi, i think there is a issue with LUTS used in Color FInale for FCPX. While it works properly in DaVinci it seems to not work in FCPX. Here are my screenshots. Please help, it would be awesome to use selfmade LUTS in FCPX: Thank you Dennis
  5. Just ran through the LUTs for Tonal Adjustments and it WILL NOT apply the drastic adjustments to my new image. What am I doing wrong?
  6. I see that in Affinity Photo I can import my LUTs from my video packages and apply them using the 3D LUT Adjustment Layer. There's a selection to Load LUT, but underneath it is another option called "Infer LUT". It doesn't allow me to select any 3D LUTs, but will allow me to select images. However, it doesn't appear to do anything at all. What is "Infer LUT" for, and how is it used?
  7. I want to know more about the LUT files export options. I use FCPX but cannot find a method to use the LUT files created in Affinity Photo BETA. I am creating a LUT in Affinity Photo and then I want to apply the LUT to the film footage that is in my video project in FCPX.
