Hello. I may be one of the few users of Mac OS 10.7 - and it's a delight to run the most recent Affinity software (Mac App Store version) alongside oldies like Final Cut Pro 7 and Logic Express :-) Unfortunately, just any keystroke in Affinity Photo highlights the filter menu, eventually leading to a crash. Hello, I was unable to launch Affinity Designer: 4 attempts, 4 crashes. MacOS Server 10.7.5 The crash log attached below. These lines at the head of the log drove my attention particularly: Affinity Designer[12298:2e03] +[NSColor colorWithRed:green:blue:alpha:]: unrecognized selector sent to class 0x7fff74153c10 2020-02-28 19:13:42.735 Affinity Designer[12298:2e03] An uncaught exception was raised 2020-02-28 19:13:42.735 Affinity Designer[12298:2e03] +[NSColor colorWithRed:green:blue:alpha:]: unrecognized selector sent to class 0x7fff74153c10 Colour system management involved? Affinity Designer_2020-02-28-190013.crash UPDATE. I confirm that this happens in Lion, it's OK in High Sierra and Mavericks. So, bad compatibility with Lion. -
I have just upgraded my late 2006 IMac to Lion 10.7.5 (Lion) and it has the 2.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 3Gb 667Mhz DDR2 SDRAM. ATI Radeon X1600 128MB graphics card I thought that I had the requisite hardware for Affinity Photo so bought it for the Mac, downloaded and installed it. When I click on the app all it seems to do is make a brief appearance on the bottom tray/shelf and then bounce off the back into oblivion! I have tried to reinstall it, but to no avail. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction please? There is nothing else installed on the IMac other than that which came with the OS. My intent was to use this machine solely for photo work. I already have a windows version of Affinity Photo on my laptop. Thanks in anticipation. Jim
