Hi. I just tried Affinity Designer a month ago, and I was hooked. And last week, I bought a license, not disappointed. I am migrating to the AD now. (Formerly I was a user of the big name vector software for years). Here is the feature request. Since I often use AD for web design, I think it really needs the ability to set the character leading to a relative value (like 1.5x or 1.5em or 150%). So when we change the font size, the leading will also be adjusted. Thanks.
It seems that control-enter is actually… the soft return key combo. At the point of this posting after eons of frustration using the usual shift-return I only just thought to try some wild and crazy key combos, and stumbled on control-enter. Dearest AD peeps… Why? Why Why Why… not a normal, intuitive, standard key combination for this? But at least now I have something that is better than my workaround: quite literally that was breaking text boxes into two and nudging them vertically… such was my desperation with the line height issues I was getting via shift-return.
When changing the line-height in a text the position of the object goes wrong to -500 and more ... Try to reproduce bug (also see screenshots* and af file): write 2 lines of text (only by click, not by defining a box) make the second line bigger standard line-height chain ratio of text box use top menu line-height slider and go down text box Y goes down so text gets out of canvas Y changes on every rollover event on the line-height drop-down menu Only works correctly with %. OSX 10.9.5 | Affinity Designer 1.4.2 * Cannot get the drop-down menu cause it always disappears on screenshot
