I've read in several places that I'd need to buy a separate license for Mac and Windows. Personally I think this is a poor business practice. In my particular case, I work on a Mac in my office and Windows at home. If I wanted Designer, Photo and the upcoming layout program, I'd essentially have to buy SIX programs to get three. Sure, I'm getting the shaft with Adobe, but at least I'm able to use the same license on more than one computer and more than one operating system. Please consider working on a way for potential customers to have the ability to work cross platform without having to spend money unnecessarily. Thank you. -
I was curious is my license which I use limitedly because I'm a dev, but I need to export assets from time to time. Can I have macOS/windows copy of affinity designer installed on the same license? If not, I'll run it on parallels but that seems like overkill. Is this acceptable use? Please continue to destroy Adobe, thank you. -Wick -
Hi all, I see that the license for Affinity Photo is easily transferable on OSX using the same Apple ID. However, is a similar transfer also possible on Windows? I'd like to purchase a license, but plan to replace my machine in 3 months. Thanks! PS Sorry if this is a repost; i've checked the FAQ's and did a few searches but couldn't find the same question. Hi everyone, I'm about to buy a license for Affinity Designer. However, I'm going to change my hardware in a couple of weeks. Right now I'm using Windows 7. But I plan to use Windows 10 on my new PC. Will I be able to use Affinity on my new PC if I buy a license right now? It's not about using your software on 2 PCs at the same time (I know the license is per one workstation). I will just have to switch my workstation and I don't know if I should wait and a buy a license after buying new PC. Thanks -
Is it possible to migrate the license from one iTunes store (country) to another? Meaning, annulate the first one, credit and buy in the other?

Hello, I`m totally new here. Just bought Affinity Photo and it`s now downloading on one of my computers. I think I read somewhere that you can use the Product key more than once. So I tried to download it for my laptop too. I went on the homepage and signed in - it just says that I can buy it here. But I already did? How can I get it now for my laptop too? I hope you can understand what I mean, english is not my first language! Thank you so much! -
So I bought my Mac version through the app store from Apple and I read online that the license lets you install on both platforms but how does that work? I do not have a logon like you get when you buy direct. Am I stuffed? -
We bought 28 licenses for Affinity Photo last year through the Apple App Store. I received a spreadsheet of codes that I used to download the software on each computer in the lab. This year we are scheduled to replace our older computers with new Macs. Is there a way to transfer the license from the older computers to the new ones when they arrive? -
Hello, So, I have Affinity Designer installed on my computer. I am planning to do a clean install of my computer and am wondering about the Affinity Designer product key. I am wondering if I am able to simply uninstall Affinity, then do my clean install, and install it again with my email and product key, or if I will have to do something else for it to deactivate. Hi, I really want to buy this program because it's awesome, but I have a few question about it. Could you answer to it? 1. When I buy it, then what about re-installing the program? Hi everybody, I could not find another place to comment on this, and I do not know if it is the best way to communicate it, but I tell you my problem anyway. I made the purchase of the software as soon as the Windows version of Affinity Photo and Design was released. I installed it in the company where I worked a few days ago but, after 15 years working with them I was fired for lack of liquidity of the company and I got a "kick in the ass". I asked them to let me delete all the personal items I had on my computer and to uninstall programs bought by me and with my "good faith" used it to their advantage. In the end, even with the legal right to have a direct representative of the company so I could collect my personal things, I was not allowed to uninstall the licenses and delete my things from the computer. Now, since I can not cancel the installation of both programs, due to ethics and moral prejudice, I do not want them to be using such software with my licenses. How could they cancel those licenses? Or rather, could those licenses be canceled if I present my correct accreditation, receipt and invoice of the licenses and provide another license linked to my account?. I hope you help me, thank you very much in advance. -
Hi, i Have a question about the license ! i have bought both apps in applestore for my imac. but now i love these apps ;) and want it on my laptop too . The problem is .. on my affinityaccount on web i cant see my license keys becouse i bought it in appstore apple. my first question on how many Computer can i install one license? Will I have any problem doing this? I will buy it with my Apple ID. I'm just wondering if it matters whose computer I install it on first because I don't use my personal Mac Mini since I work remotely from home on the 27" iMac my employer has given me to use. If my employer wants the computer back, then I will be forced to work on my Mac Mini, so then I would remove it from my employer's iMac and install it on the Mac Mini. I would only work on one computer for commercial purposes. Thanks. -
Hello, so recently I have been having some problems with my computer but at the same time have been looking for a photo editor. I realize that if I get Affinity Photo, download it, then have to reset my computer I would have to re-purchase it unless you can still redownload the product. At any point in time, another computer could be broken or something happens to it that I must move the software (trying to be prepared). How many times can I use the license? Thanks! -
Hello, I've just created a Logo in Affinity Photo, using an Anchor Symbol along with some Text, using the fonts "Big Carlson" and "Baskerville" (I've manually added some fonts, but I think they are default fonts that come with Affinity Photo, right?). As the Logo will be shown on websites and probably printed, too, my question is: Do I need to buy a license for these fonts, or can I use them for whatever and wherever? If I need a License, where can I buy it? Would be great if someone could answer that. LFF -
Does anyone know what will happen when Affinity Photo becomes commercial? I bought a mac mini specifically to run Affinity Photo a year ago, but I use it for nothing else so I'm going to sell it soon. (I know it's "only" a beta, but I've not used the mac since the beta came out). Will my mac license be transferrable to the new commercial Windows version? If so, will I have to hang on to my mac until the Windows commercial version is launched to do the transfer? Or can I remove the program and sell the mac now and "bank" the Affinity license somehow? How will the activation work on the final release? Will we be able to use it on several computers not worrying about having to re-purchase the software? Will there be offline activation?
