Hello, I’m kinda new to the app, and I’m very excited to learn to use it! I think it’s one of the strongest apps for design on the iPad. However, I was really bummed to find out that the app doesn’t support the Arabic language. By far, I think this is the only upper hand that adobe illustrator has over affinity designer. I think affinity can reach a wider audience if they did support this feature. For the time being, I have to go on Vectornator to type my text, save it as a SVG and then insert it into affinity. It makes editing the text just a pain in the bum bum. I’ve seen a handful of people requesting that feature so I thought I would too. Maybe my contribution to increase the demand for this feature would finally make it happen. Thanks a lot.

Writing in Arabic letters is in an unnatural distorted form on a program Affinity designer, Not like Photoshop for example. in affinity Letters are broken and inconsistent with each other -
Does Designer (or any of your other software) support right-to-left languages such as Hebrew or Arabic? Seems like everything is backwards and I haven't been able to flip my text or the direction as I can do in other programs. If not, is there any plan to add this important feature any time soon? Thank you. -
Hi Would be really helpful to change the language per document, directly on each text frame or for a marked text. The language setting in the text style is difficult to handle when it is required to work in multiple languages. br -
I am working on a book using phonetics, and as I try to search for words with an apostrophe in it, it returns no results. I have tried different types of apostrophe type symbols with no success. Another update I am still waiting for, is support for other asian languages that have wrap around below and above such as SE asian languages like Thai, or Cambodian. This is not supported in affinity software: ខ្ញុំ it will look like this: ខ្ ញ ុ ំ -
Does publisher supports all languges that Word supports like Arabic and Hebrew?
