affinity designer Boolean Games - Newbie Designer
Boolean Games posted a topic in Share your workHi all, I'm Greg, and I run a game development company called Boolean Games. Always liked the Vector art style, so thought I'd give it a go myself. Initially tried Illustrator but disliked the pricing etc, currently on a trial with Affinity so far but I really like it so I'll end up buying it This is roughly the level that I'm at but the inspiration was my 2 year old daughter and a possible design for the feature wall in her newly decorated bedroom.

affinity designer Panic™ (Characters, gadgets and backgrounds)
Ros posted a topic in Share your workHey everyone! This is my first post here. In less than a year, Affinity has changed my workflow in ways I couldn't even imagine some time ago. Here it is, my first project developed entirely using Designer. If you like it, feel free to check it out at Behance and show me some love :-) https://www.behance.net/gallery/31974255/Panic Thanks!
Hi everybody, I've created this book reading slug. The drawing is to be used as a colouring page for free download at a website for kids. I really like the abillity to draw using the pen tool and then add the pressure feeling afterwards :)
Have you guys thought of approaching schools and offering your software either free or reduced cost? In the early day I think most of us would have to own up to 'acquiring' a copy of Adobes offering to learn the skills that would be otherwise impossible, because lets be honest what kid can afford a £1000 design suit? My son is in his last year of school and is completing a GCSE in graphic design, I was shocked to find out that the school did not teach any correct form of Adobe software only paint shop pro and an old copy of fireworks. If kids where to learn this off the bat, and leave school loving the software and equally it did not cripple the school to provide it as a learning tool. I think it would provide you a solid foundation of loyal users wanting to move forward and use this in the professional world.
