  1. When you export to TIFF or JPEG and the keywords are comma delimited only the last keyword entered shows up in the exported file. This same thing happens on iPad with latest updates and Mac running Big Sur OS. This has also been reported in the Mac version portion of the forum. UPDATE: Tried to test on iPad by changing commas to semicolons. In multiple tries the keywords field was no updated after clicking OK. I believe there is a serious problem with the whole keywords module when it comes to editing and exporting. 2ND UPDATE:This morning I tested by exporting a JPG file with several keywords. Like previously when I checked to see if keywords were fully copied to the JPG file only the last keyword in the list was this displayed. However, I then did something I didn't think of doing yesterday when testing, I opened the same JPG in the software NeoFinder and all keywords were displayed. So, there is a problem with the way keywords are being handled but it appears that they are not being lost upon export. Instead it appears to be the display of all keywords in JPG and TIF files generated by AP. Hope this info helps.
  2. Hi. I am sorry if this has been asked before but I have searched the forum and cannot find an answer for this. I have been happily using AP for several months and learning lots, and have now got to a stage where I am finalising several bits of work. When I work in Photoshop before going further I would go to File Info and then add the image info such as title, description, relevant searchable keywords, and then add all my copyright info and my url, so once it goes out my image has relevant metadata attached to it to help protect it and identify it should people need to contact me. I cannot find out how I do this ANYWHERE in AP and it is a basic but really critical element to the process. Please can someone advise me where and how I access the file info section for images so I can add this information. I have even converted AP images into jpegs etc and searched that way in case this option only becomes visible with more recognised file types but with no luck. I cannot believe a programme as smart as Affinity has not built this in, as in this day and age it is really important to protect your copyright and also allow your image to become searchable with key words. Thanks in advance for your help
  3. I am utterly new to Affinity iPad. One thing baffled me. Right now I use Adobe Bridge and Photoshop. Not on iPad. So on iPad I need a way to batch re-name images, caption and keyword them within the metadata. Is this possible or would I need to import to another app before developing the image in AP?
  4. Since Adobe is going to stop making their product Lightroom as a stand alone software, I think this would be an excellent time for Affinity to develop something like the Lightroom software. I'm certain there would be many that would love to see an alternative to the Adobe product. I would certainly be one of the first to sign up.
  5. I use Photoshop Elements and I have keywords/tags to my photo's so I can find them in a easy way. ( builings, family, etc.) Is this also possible in Affinity, beause I cannot find it or I have overlook it.
  6. Following Apple's decision to no longer support Aperture I have migrated to Photos with a view to using Affinity for more advanced editing. I am in the process of designing my work flow which includes initially importing to Photos for immediate review, deletes, and quick edits. At this stage I also keyword my images, which is central to my file organising. I have tested the workflow by exporting RAW to a 'Transit Folder' and the opened some images in Affinity and did some editing. I then exported the edited files as a JPG and imported back into Photos. Whilst all the EXIF data was still present the keywords were not. Have I omitted to do something that would have preserved the keywords? If not is this something that will be included in the next upgrade, especially since Affinity is intended to work so closely with Apple? Thanks GQ
