  1. Weird behavior on the iPad with Designer. Not sure how to describe it but it’s so annoying when you want to pan to another part of a design it snaps you back to the last object selected or a current selection. Anyone else getting this issue? Video attached. IMG_1708.MOV
  2. As a designer, we are expected to design in many different areas. The vast majority of these are for two-dimensional surfaces, for example designs such as emblems, logos, banners, brochures and, more recently, social media visuals in general. Occasionally, we may need to do it for designs that go to the third dimension, such as packaging, awards and plaques. In this video, I wanted to show what stages a three-dimensional plaque design consists of.
  3. Mucking about during Covid downtime. This is a combination of AD and Cinema 4D.
  4. Hi all, Recently purchased a keyboard and mouse to use along with my iPad Pro, as I thought I would be able to use Affinity Designer more intuitively. Only to find that the program is missing some very basic keyboard shortcuts. Some examples of the shortcuts in question are: Artboard panning (Spacebar + Drag), along with CMD button and (-)/(+) for zooming in and out. I really wanted to be able to invest more time into Affinity on the iPad, but feel like I can't with it lacking such basic shortcuts. Does anyone know if these are going to be added at some point (hopefully soon)??
  5. Using the affinity designer program, we will see step by step how to prepare a book cover design on iPad Pro.
  6. It has been a rough year and it has left a lot of pain behind. But we continued to work and produce. What remains at the end of a year is in this video. Have a nice watch.
  7. Batman and joker illustration, one of the important heroes of popular culture. I hope you will like it. For those who are curious about the production process, the video is on my youtube channel. Link >> https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCATDXq4Y_mVf4U_cLkcKm4w

  9. Hi everyone, I just bought Affinity photo on the iPad Pro and I was trying to insert an Arabic Unicode symbol to add it to a picture but instead of pasting it, a missing icon is shown. I don’t understand why Affinity photo don’t support that while others app on iOs like Procreate, Pixelmator or photoshop do...Can someone help me ? thank you.
  10. New to Affinity. I found that I can import macros, Can you create a Macro in the iPad version? If so, how?
  11. iPadPro 12.9 2017, when I use the brush tool and select the black brush, it will not react in any way. But gray and white can be used normally.
  12. Affinity Photo on iPad seems to colour-manage correctly but only displays results clipped to the sRGB gamut, not taking advantage of the wider P3 gamut on the iPad Pro display. The result is that wide gamut images do not appear correctly, and colours outside the sRGB gamut are not visible. Steps to reproduce: Use an iPad Pro model with P3 display. Create a new document with Display P3 as the colour profile. Paint some pure red (255, 0, 0) onto the canvas. Take a screenshot (sleep button + volume up). The screenshot will be in P3. Import the screenshot into Affinity Photo. The imported document will be in P3. Sample the red with the eye dropper. Instead of P3 (255, 0, 0), the colour will be P3 (233, 51, 35), which is sRGB (255, 0, 0).
  13. Hi there, it’s been now two weeks that I’ve purchased the Affinity Photo for my Mac and iPad Pro . Although the desktop version is doing well I have many problems in the iPad version. When I’m working in more than 20 layers, then it becomes extremely slow, it crashes and it does not saves my work. When I try to merge two layers it takes forever. Now I’m working to a project that has about 25 layers and I can not continue working because it does not saves my work. Is anything I can do?
  14. Hello, I just purchased Affinity Photo for iPad Pro. I have planned to use it for the digital painting... However I run into the issue. When using the brush...line is blurry while I paint. (With any type of brush). When I stop it takes about 2 seconds for them to sharpen. So while I am painting I am constantly looking on blurred lines. This delay irritates my eyes. I can try to describe in other words: line look very pixelated while I am drawing but shortly after I stop it gets smoother. I was hoping to see if it’s some kind of settings that I have to change. Otherwise I have to return the purchase as it’s not usable for me. P.S. Interesting observation that Affinity Designer in the Pixel persona has no delay in the line sharpening. It’s same while I am drawing the line and after it. Thank you
