  1. Yes! I've been working hard last weeks creating an Interactive Christmas Card for everyone free to share with friends & family. All graphics happily created with Affinity Designer (except for a little piece, made in Blender)! Love vector, love the interface, love the export persona! It speeds up everything so much and makes designing so much more fun! 😎 The card really talks 😀 Choose a Wish and Character and it will be read aloud! The card is free to share with your own chosen wish and character with your collegues, friends and family. Spread the love and Merry Christmas! 🎅💌 😀 It's here: English: https://www.wigglecard.nl/en Dutch: https://www.wigglecard.nl Or just watch the video below to get an impression. Hope y'all like it!
  2. Graphics created in Affinity Designer and animated using Javascript and math to explore new interactive animation techniques. Also having fun creating music meant to be tunes and exploring a fitting musical style for some projects! 😀 🎵🎹
  3. I want to create a PDF with an active, moving GIF. I know it's possible with InDesign. How about with Affinity Publisher? Deciding which program to buy. Thanks, Meowface Sam
  4. Title says it all. As an anchor is set within the text tool, a shortcut, although not allocated, would be overridden by a special character, rendering the creation of the anchor non-operational. Result: you have to insert it via the menu.
  5. I would like to add a link to a phone number (tel:+4412345678) in an interactive PDF. The Add URL function always creates a 'https://' automatically, so the tel:-link cannot work. From my point of view the automatic 'https://' is unnecessary? Many thanks and best regards Dominik
  6. Video in Publisher this is a must-have! 2 become a true #DigiMag "Digital Magazine."For Publisher to become professional interactive layout tool for digital magazines and presentations and hope to unseat Adobe InDesign.I need to place video into Publisher as a digital magazine, presentation. By embedding or attaching to make it's interactive, And publish as a working PDF. Rollovers, Interactive pop-up videos, digital publication embedded URL's this is with need, it to make a true #DigMag https://ello.co/drzigzag To be next evolution up publishing the Internet audio, video, animation, rollovers, and many other things to come. I think Affinity can lead to the new Generation publication. In the file below all the balloons, I will like to have as rollovers with animated sounds Voice to bring my #DigiMag 2 life.
  7. Interested in computers, graphics, animations, games, vr, interactives and internet? Computer graphics, animations and interactions are now self-evident. You just have to pick up your smartphone, tablet, desktop computer or what else and you feel intuitively when you have to swipe, click, drag or pinch zoom. You also expect nothing less than nice interfaces with smooth animations. But it wasn't always like this... There were times where there were no editors like Photo and Designer, nor Illustrator, nor Photoshop, and even computers and animations of frames didn't exist... I wrote a blog series of six where I like to take you on a journey through time with our focus on learning about the development before and during the creation of computers, digital graphics, animations, graphical interfaces, graphics software, interactivity, 3D, a pinch of the first games, the creation of the internet and a touch of virtual reality. I have made more than 110 illustrations for this series with Affinity Designer and also provide each part with at least one interactive to bring the events alive as good as possible for you. Part 1 is out there now! Hope you like it and I'm sure you learn something new from it and be surprised by some events! There will be a new part every month from now. Enjoy! 8. I would love it if Affinity Publisher outputted all standard eBook formats and allowed for interactivity in eBooks where supported by file type. Interactive features would include: popups with texts animation sound files ability to turn features on or off within the book page jumps on choice Since Affinity is the future and interactive books are the future, seems a perfect match to me. Right now, there are some add-on interactive features programs or software that are limited to very specific outputs; Kotobee, iBooks Author, Aquafadas, inkling, Interact Builder, DemiBooks, Atavist, Talespring and others. My perfect workflow would be to draft the book, illustrate it in Designer (with Designer allowing frame animation), design in Publisher including any interactivity, and export across a wide variety of formats. I realize this is a huge technical challenge, but it is my fantasy workflow. Thank you.
  9. Plain and simply, we need interactive PDFs, buttons galore! Easy email embedding would be a lovely feature too.
  10. Oh my God!! My Christmas machine is hopelessly stuck!! Will you be able to keep Santas Factory running? Try it yourself! Santa's Factory Interactive (English) Santa's Factory Interactive (Dutch) All graphics of this Interactive Christmas Card are happily created with Affinity Designer! Especially LOVE the export persona which makes my workflow so much more fun and faster!!! 20181016_SantasFactory-ScreenRecording-1920x1080.mp4
  11. Has there been any discussion to include a resource so that pdf files can be made interactive? That was one of my main reasons to sign up for InDesign and I believe would be a great add onto publisher. I have downloaded the Beta version and was disappointed that this option was not available.
  12. Hi - I currently use InDesign to create interactive eBooks in Fixed Layout ePub format. I would love it if Affinity Publisher could also do this and allow me to ditch the last Adobe product I use.
  13. Hi, Is it possible to use Designer or Photo to mock up website comps that allow local ( not online) interactive functions to show clients how a real webpage will operate (i.e. have functional rollovers/links that will work correctly to link only to other (offline) pages in the mockup)? I think that Sketch can do this? Thanks, lettergothic
  14. Hi it is my second post here like I said in my first post about 3D import for texture like a Maya or Maya LT or 3DS Max project, I just found out about that software/tool. So here's my question is there any chance for Flinto and other interactive prototyping tools support or plug-in with Affinity Designer? It could be so awesome. I am currently looking for a new set of tools for my workflow, and I'll be so happy if I could reduce the amount of tools I am working with as an interactive and immersive designer. So if Affinity can be really good for UX/UI design, concept art and 3D texture and color...and prototyping support than I'll say goodbye to Adobe. Thank You Oh by the way guys I forgot in my first post to say GREAT JOB and keep going, even if I buy it or not I think you still did a good job and this is good to put more tools in the market so that designers and creators have more choice for their creativity. 15. It would be nice if AD could create interactive prototypes for wire frameing. This could be handled by attaching actions to objects and then turning on / off certain layers. You could also allow the action to go to a different page or artboard (I know artboards are still coming). You could export the whole thing as an interactive SVG for viewing in a browser, or export as html. As many designers use multiple tools to handle this already, you would be doing everyone a service by combining all the tools in one. Just my opinion.
