I downloaded trial version of the Affinity Photo two weeks ago and I am very pleased with it. I tried to contact Affinity before I purchase software with the question but nobody replied. Question again is: Is it possible to install purchased software with same serial number on multiple computers, like my iMac and IBook laptop with same serial number. What if they are different operating OS? Aleks

C:\Program Files\Serif\Affinity Designer Public Beta\ C:\Program Files\Affinity\Affinity Photo Public Beta\ Can you please change the installation paths, so that both programs are in the same folder, either Serif or Affinity?

I installed the Affintity Beta today after much grief with installing Net Framework 4.6. It has taken a while to sort out the Net Framework required by Affinity as installation kept failing through an undefined error. (I have been trying to install this version of Net Framework for some considerable time, as Windows Update found it a problem to install. Resolution was a "Fix" of Windows Update using Microsoft's FixIt Tool [Even though there was nothing wrong with Update] plus an addition of a couple of SIDL's to the Installer Whitelist). If I re-download the trial, will that overcome the expiration or is it too late now? Best regards Terry Rushent

I've just updated from Affinity Designer 1.5.0.5 to 1.5.0.7. After .NET 4.6.2 was installed, there was a noticeable amount of time spent calculating space requirements right at the start of the installation, with no indication of any progress being made. It spent so long on my Core i7 laptop, running Windows 7, that I thought that maybe it had crashed. There was a second message about calculating space requirements later on in the installation dialogue but that had an indicator bar associated with it. However, did that second calculation need to be done?

Have just installed the latest beta. Installation was rather slower than previous versions, especially for the M$ NET requirement but seemed to go without hitch. Following a reboot, the new version opened and, although I have not seriously tested it yet, seems to perform without difficulty. However, when I just now returned to my computer I was confronted with a security message from my AV, Bullguard Internet Security, with a message that a series of files, apparently installed at the time of the upgrade are Trojans and they have been quarantined! I assume these files actually came from the NET Framework installation since they were all located in C:\Windows\assembly\NativeImages_v4.0.30319_64\System.Web.Routing\ or C:\Windows\assembly\NativeImages_v4.0.30319_32\Presentatio53a7a42c#\ or C:\Windows\assembly\NativeImages_v4.0.30319_32\Microsoft.VisualC\ Obviously (I hope) there are additional file names at the end of each string above, 4 for the first location, 2 for the second and 8 for the third. All are described by Bullguard as "Trojan.Generic". I can retrieve these files from quarantine but have not done so yet since AD still seems to run without problem, but I would welcome a developer's/moderator's input on this. Thoughts/advice, please! Thank you. Jeff

I have tried to install the application over several days. It hangs on 'Installing Prerequisite: Microsoft .Net Framework' and will continue to hang. If you attempt to cancel it changes the button text to 'Cancelling' but continues to hang. On this last occasion I have let it run for several hours, but it still does not complete. I am running Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit, and the .Net Framework 4 is definitely already installed, not sure about other versions but can check if you need me to do so... HELP! Chris Bray

I purchased the app Affinity photo app at the Apple store September 23. Download and installation seemed to be ok. Starting the program shows the Affinity Logo with the actual version number, then for about 2 seconds a dark screen, which then is closed and an error report is shown ('Unexpected termination'). A screen shot of the first lines in this report is attached as jpeg-file. This might be helpful for the understanding of the reason for the termination of the program.
