If you want to take a long exposure photo of a river, waterfall, or any landscape in a broad daylight but don't have ND filter or tripod, don't worry about it because you can still do it in Affinity Photo by stacking your images. Hello, I am very new to post-production (beyond Lr) and am really looking forward to learning and playing around with the possibilities. For a school project, I'd like to create an image from a stack of about 100 images. I'm planning to shoot a friend over a period of 10 minutes total as she prepares a meal in her kitchen. The camera will be on a tripod and the entire kitchen will be visible in the shot. I'll probably use a shutter speed of 5s for each shot to have some blur, and then use a flash to freeze her in action a few times overall. In total, there'll be up to 120 individual images to stack. I'd like the final image to retain the blur and slightly transparent frozen images of her. As I've never worked with image stacking, I was wondering whether this process will actually cause the subject to become more transparent than she is in the individual images. In other words... would this actually be doable? Your perspectives and advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you. :-) Jenny

Will Affinity Photo stack images? A typical shot for me is between 30 and 60 images. I'm using a Canon 5Ds and macro lens. Thanks, James
