  1. Observed in Peckham, drawn in AD on my iPad and then animated in After Effects.
  2. Tinkering during a slow work week. Inspired by the rain hammering against my office window.
  3. Hi guys! First off, I'm coming from an art background, so you see where my ideas are coming from and what I do with AP. You did an amazing job with the recent updates of the brush engine in Affinity Photo, I really like to play with it and the performance got much better for painting. My 2 cents: could you give the color picker (alt key when you use the brush tools) a little bit more thought? There is always a 1 second delay and it makes working slower than any other painting software I used so far. Also, the "magnifying glass effect" (for a lack of a better word) should be optional. Can't really imagine why I'd want to have that. The scrubby zoom could benefit from an option to not snap on 50% and 100%. Super useful often times but in some cases it may be better to turn it off. I know, Painting is not the main focus of the application, but it could become a real alternative for Illustrators and concept artists if small things like this would be solved. Look at how many painters are out there, just check ArtStation.com for example. Thank you Best wishes Flo

  6. Hey there, It's always a pleasure to share with the Affinity's community how I design my pieces to make the games. regards, Jhonatan
  7. Sundays are always good for experimentation and blowing off some creative steam, without client deadlines and briefs. So for this Sunday I created a poster for one of my favorite Electronic Music producers: Chicane. Chicane has released a few albums that have been my creative companions for many many years ad I always go back to them when inspiration is needed. Here you can see the poster and some screenshots with details. Got any questions? Let me know. I would be more than happy to answer them Cheers from Greece Stratos.
  8. Follow this link to see a video that demonstrates this sugggested feature visually. This would be a brush feature adjustment that is a bit more “free” and intuitive than our current ability to adjusted vector lines with the pressure curve. This tool would allow us to grab our vector lines and push and pull them from any point on the individual vector without affecting any of the other vectors in the document. After seeing Kyle Webster working in this way in Adobe Animate, I thought, “Surely we could have a tool like this in Designer that could be even better.”
  9. Downloaded the 1.7 update last night and had a quick play, really liking the new feature additions. Some of them might've been handy for this project I've been working on recently, ah well:)
  10. Illustration and Logo for a Guitar internet tutorials.
  11. Something I’ve been putting together between other projects. Prints available (probably)
  12. This is an image I colored using Affinity Designer on the iPad. I love all the quick masking I can do without having to juggle and edit clipping masks, like in Illustrator. I created the raster line art in Medibang Paint for iPad; traced the art using Inscape; and finished the art in Designer, including making the BG pattern. I still have to tweak the BG print to fill a couple holes, but I really enjoy working in Designer to add the Pizzazz! If you are interested in the tracing presets I use in Inkscape to create a close-to-perfect trace, let me know and I'll post it here. For anyone who is interested, years ago I did a comparison between using Inkscape and Illustrator. http://www.segtsy.com/2012/04/adobe-illustrator-live-trace-vs-inkscape-trace-bitmap/ Here's a step-by-step for Inkscape. I have adjusted my settings since this post. http://www.segtsy.com/2012/04/bitmap-tracing-live-trace-with-inkscape/
  13. A new drawing has landed in my portfolio. Please take a look at it, I look forward to your feedback https://www.bodobe.de/magnetic-fields/
  14. Once again I thought I would share something produced on AD using my iPad and iMac combo. This sequence is for an article about how delivering information isn't enough - it's what the student does with it that provides the best indication of what was learnt. Anyways.
  15. Hello, friends. Tonight I could not sleep and I decided to draw something for the soul. This is what I did, Affinity DesignPad. I would be grateful for the support on Dribbble

  21. Affinity You Rock!!! This is my vector illustration of a painting I did almost 20 years ago, (I can’t take credit for the original work as that was copied from a magazine). I also did a photoshop version some years ago for a competition on worth1000 (anyone remember that?) I've tried to do something different and use more of designers tool’s than I did with the car in my 1st go. Hope you like it. cheers
