  1. If anyone uses the clone brush a lot and is constantly changing the angle, scale or flipping the selection, you might agree with having a button to reset the brush back to defaults
  2. Hey there, I am coming from softwaredev and really would love to see a fuzzy finder in Affinity where I can find all the tools by using just one single shortcut which opens the search bar. As a ref I just put in the fuzzy finder gif from GitKraken, also a very cool piece of software.
  3. I struggle to create gradient fills easily and efficiently. Here are the two methods that I use, and perhaps the only way. I'd be curious if someone out there has another method. Method one: Create object select "G" on the keyboard draw gradient Select the Gradient color box at the top toolbar make active a node on the gradient line select color from colour box Repeat steps 6 -7 for each node in the gradient line. Method two: Create object select "G" on the keyboard draw gradient Select the node in gradient bar Select Swatches tab in the docker on the right Select color in the Swatches pallet. Repeat steps 5 -6 for each node in the gradient line. Suggested Improvements: A) What I would like to see is the ability to double click on the color node on the object itself, not the node from the methods above, and by double click the node a swatches pallet opens for you to make your color selection. B) Another option would be to select color node, select the eyedropper in the tool bar and while holding the Shift key down select the color you want applied to that node. This method is great for sampling color from other drawings or reference images. I appoligize if there is another method alreay in place, I just haven't come across it yet. Thanks in advance. -Bill
  4. I just read the Affinity Publisher announcement and had an idea for a cross-application workflow. I don’t know if that has been suggested before or if it isn’t even already implemented (I only own AD at the moment) but better twice than not at all, so here we go: I expect AD and APub to be very close in terms of workflow for UI/website designers where they might even use APub as primary application for their wireframes, so how about an option „Edit in [AP/AD/APub]“ where you could have an object/group selected and it would automatically open this in the other application (and perhaps even update the edits live)? So, for example, context-clicking a placed raster image in Affinity Publisher or Affinity Designer and selecting „Edit in Affinity Photo“ would open the image in AP and you could manipulate it right there. Likewise, some vector graphic that you’ve placed in an AP document could be opened in AD by context-clicking the object, and manipulated right there. Forgive me if this is already there but I had to get that out of my head before I forget it.
  5. This is just an idea for later versions of Affinity Photo; I was thinking it would be really nice to have Lightroom Presets compatible with later versions of affinity photo. Although they are different applications, they are still similar so maybe Lightroom Presets could become usable in Affinity photo! (Just an idea but would be very useful) Kind regards! Hanan
  6. Hey, me again I got just an quick idea. I am sometimes pretty unconcentrated or so deep in my work that I forget what I want to do with my image. So it would help me really if I can add some messages to the image. Like this, but with a extra menue just for the "memos". So i can hide them quick and delete them at the end easy.
