  1. Why this doesn't work for me? Can't select hidden objects. 123.mp4
  2. There appears to be a bug in the select same tool, because it selects locked, hidden, locked and hidden objects, groups and layers. This is on Windows 10.19044 and Affinity Designer version 1.10.5.1342. Hardware acceleration is turned OFF. 2022-07-05 17-24-34.mp4
  3. How to only export certain pages (artboard layers) to PDF print in Affinity Designer? Layers are made not visible in Designer Persona. In Export Persona, layers are made not visible in export. Upon Export to PDF print, do not export hidden layers box is selected. And yet the whole document is still exported in PDF print. Am I missing something or is this a bug? (By the way, overall Affinity Designer is a really good software) Thanks.
  4. Two critical bugs when exporting a file as a PSD file. 1. Any layer marked hidden in Affinity Photo shows up in the exported PSD file as empty. 2. In the exported PSD file, all layers are clipped to the size of the canvas in the Affinity Photo document. The first bug can be worked around by unhiding the layer before export. A pain but doable until fixed. The second bug is fatal. We are looking at buying about 10 licences to deploy Affinity Photo to our team but we have to maintain compatibility with Photoshop as some work will go outside where that is their design package. So any layer that extends beyond the canvas in a document is rendered useless by Affinity Photo clipping to the canvas. This means we will have to look for an alternate application. Which is a real frustration as AP does so many things so very well. Can you hyper-escalate this bug to the development team and provide some kind of workaround in the interim? By the way, importing of PSD files—some with some pretty esoteric filters, adjustment layers, masks, etc.—works very well in Photo. Kudos for that guys. Affinity Photo 1.7.3 on macOS 10.14.6.
  5. I am using a 5K iMac and I went to add tabs I can add about 5 and then the rest are hidden. I tried to scroll, key down, enlarge the panel (It won't vertically) without success. I need to change the justification of those hidden tabs.
  6. Hello All, When opening a new file in the Draw Persona (and creating vector art) or opening an existing afdesign file, the artwork remains hidden behind a gray field. (the gray field doesn't show up as a layer.) The vector artwork, if clicked on with selection tool, can be seen with nodes but when you click outside of the art work it disappears again. I've tried adjusting parameters within the preferences and document setup but nothing changes. I also re-installed AD and the same issue happened. I've attached screen shots of the 'node view' and the 'disappearing artwork' field. Thanks for any input!
  7. It's what the title says, ability to see markers for tabs, paragraph markers, spaces, line breaks, and so on. Absolutely fundamental for any kind of design using more than a couple of line of text. Thanks!
  8. Hello One of Adobe's consistent behaviours has been to hid bloatware in places impossible to remember. One of AD's features has been a cleaner interface, even if I'm still looking for some Illustrator features and wonder if they're hidden or just not present... :) So this is a request to try and build a consistent interface. Going to your example video of scaling features, I understand why the corners should be in the top ribbon, that's an essential features. The scaling of strokes is more hidden, and the scaling of effects is three levels of interface deep... From a UI perspective, there's nothing that should prevent you having the 'scale w object' tick box directly on the panel. Actually the cog wheel adds very little and may well be dispensed with altogether! Thanks
