  1. Hello, im trying to use my graphics tablet with Affinity Photo. It recognizes the pen and i can erase with it or click on things but the brush tool isn´t working. It worked for am moment and stoped, i tried turning on and of Windows Ink but it didn´t change anything. In Affinity Designer everything works fine.
  2. Windows 10 1.10.1.1142 Sometimes when tablet cursor interacts with ui buttons, mouse clicks no longer registers, only works in canvas area. I can't reproduce this consistently.
  3. I am looking forward to get me a nice graphic tablet! The question is now: Which one? I don't want to go the Wacom way because of price and there are now so many new vendor and models out there … So any tips, insights and experiences would be nice. And the tablet is for use with the usual thre suspects. 😉
  4. When I got my Wacom Intuos BT M graphics tablet, I was led to believe that it would be fully compatible with Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo. However, I am very disappointed that Serif did not take advantage of the ability for their design software to use Application Defined settings for the Wacom graphic tablets (Ahem, I hear your competitor's Adobe software uses this to make set-up a breeze). As a new user and beginner graphical designer, I expected not to have to manually define all of the pen controls and other buttons to specific functions within your apps. Please either provide an in-depth tutorial on how to set up the most common graphics tablet controls for tools and brushes within your design software or create a profile for Application Defined settings that will do the same!! Thank you for your time and consideration from a multi-media artist and musician.
  5. I am intrigued by iskn's Repaper graphics tablet. I saw it 3 or 4 years ago loved the idea but I don't know anyone who uses one and I haven't bought one either but I often think about it. I was wondering if anyone here uses it and then uses Affinity Designer or Photo to manipulate the drawings? I believe that Repaper can capture your strokes in vectors while you draw on real paper using real pencils or pens and you can export them with SVG, which you could then manipulate using Designer or Photo. I'd be curious to know what people who have used one think of it? I know a lot of people use Wacom or other devices but I'm a more traditionalist and prefer real paper and pencil or pen and I was wondering how the Repaper compared with other devices like the ones from Wacom. I often sketch things out on paper and then scan it or take a photo and then rework it in Designer based on my sketch but it would be great to remove a step but I wasn't how well it worked.
  6. Hey there, I'm having an issue with my graphics tablet(Huion 1060+, in case that helps) in Affinity Designer. Whenever I try to write with it on the canvas, it switches from whatever tool I'm using to the Eraser tool, no matter what persona I'm using. I've tried turning off and resetting Affinity's keyboard shortcuts, resetting my tablet to defaults, restarting the program, and resetting fills, brushes, object styles, text styles, and user defaults, all to no avail. It works fine when I use my trackpad, and it was working with the tablet earlier today. Any suggestions? Thanks!
  7. Hi everyone, I have not long managed to get a Huion GT220V2 Graphics Drawing Display Tablet/Monitor. I have gone to use Affinity Photo (on windows latest os, and affinity version 1.6.5.135). When I put the pen to the display affinity photo changes the tool instantly to the background eraser tool. I cannot use any tool with my pen and display as when I try it just change the tool back to the background eraser tool? Has anyone else had this? I have even tried the beta version and the same thing happens! Anyone got a fix? Thanks! Billie
  8. I would like to know if you can make a brush created with a graphics follow the pressure curves, like you can with a mouse? As I really like the appeal of the thin tip and thick middle. When I draw the lines with a brush, it obviously creates it's own pressure curve based on the true pressure, is there a way to disable this, so that it follows the saved pressure curve under the stroke settings?. Stroke pressure curve settings Desired line quality (drawn with mouse) A Line drawn with a tablet under the same settings
