  1. My current graphics card does not support hardware accelleration in Affinty, so I have been investigation the possibility of an upgrade. I took the recommended specifications to my local computer shop and he said that, because of the current shortage of graphics cards, a suitable replacement would cost me between £300 and £500. This seems a lot so I would like to ask the community what sort of improvement I might see with an upgrade. I am not a professional user, indeed I have sold just one photograph in my 50-odd years of taking photographs so I am not in it for the money. Would I see any improvement in my ordinary amateur photo-editing workflow? Or would I be better spending the money on a bread proofer for my regular batch of bread rolls! John
  2. Due to performance related issues with AMD GPU drivers, our developers decided to disable Hardware Acceleration for AMD Radeon RX 5000 series and later cards in the 1.9.1 update. We've notified AMD of the issue and we're awaiting their response. More information can be found in the below thread - Update -
  3. Hi, since the last update (1.8.5.703) the publisher says that my graphics card is incompatible with direcx 10 - it is a Geforce GTX 760 which runs fine with directx 11. The error occurs every start of the software. What can I do? I will add the Error screen and the DXDiag screen. Translation of the Error into english: "To work with this Software a DirectX10 compatible graphics card is required. We could not locate such a card. Choose softwareimplementing (don't know what that means) to keep the software running. Please be informed that the software will not perform correctly without a new graphics card." regards Jens
