After start of V2 this day, I see that the whole Brush list is 100% empthy... Re-installation has no effect at all. and Now?

Affinity Designer, my presets don't save and basic brushes are gone As the title says. If i go to bushes and select the BASIC brushes. All are gone but 1. Also i made about 15 presets for easy setup. When I reopen DESIGNER this morning they are gone. Any thoughts? Gary

I noticed this morning that the Crop Tool is missing from the Tools Panel. In its place is a blank space that does nothing when I click on it. Here's what I've done in an attempt to restore the Crop Tool: Installed the latest update Quit and restart Affinity Photo Reboot my computer (Macbook Pro/MacOS Big Sur v11.6) Removed and replaced the Crop Tool using View/Customize Tools Added a second Crop Tool using View/Customize Tools (this resulted in two blank spaces) I can still access the Crop Tool using Shift+C, but this is a real drag. Any clue as to how I can restore the Crop Tool?

hi, guys, i have only been using Affinity Designer for a short time and now i have a problem. Because somehow my white paint is gone. I've tried a few things but nothing works. The color code is fffff but I get a strange light brown color. No matter what I do, I always get this wrong color. If I insert a white picture and go with the pinpette on white, I get this other color again. It seems that white has been replaced with this other color. How can I change that again? Good evening, I've been struggling to find the alredy repeatedly mentioned button to convert a curve created with the pen tool into a selection. It is said that this button should be shown in the context toolbar, but I fail to find it. I've wondered if it has been removed with a previous update, since the posts I've been reading on this topic dated back to 2015. I tried to look around in the right-click menu and other places but I did not manage to solve the problem. Please help :)

I don't know what happened, but I left Affinity Photo open and put my iMac to sleep last night and this morning when I switched to AP and noticed that the left side Tools were missing. When I click the View menu, I see a checkmark to the left of "Show Tools." Toggling that does nothing except expand or contract the left sidebar by 1cm or so. Quitting and relaunching AP does nothing to solve the problem either. The Toolbar shows just fine, and I can toggle that just fine. It's only the TOOLS that display at left which won't show anymore. Choosing "Customize Tools..." expands or contracts the black space at left by about 8cm or so but otherwise shows nothing when I toggle it. This seems like a bug, but since I could be doing something wrong and since I have no steps to repeat this bug I am writing this QUESTION today. I guess the only way to resolve this problem would be to reset all preferences to defaults or otherwise reset AP, but how do I accomplish that? Thanks. UPDATE: Solving my own question (although the cause of this anomaly is still a mystery), I clicked Preferences > Miscellaneous > Reset XXX on all 5 buttons and then relaunched AP. To my delight the Tools now display at left. Very odd but glad to see there's an easy fix. If I can find a way to repeat this bug I will of course report it in the Bugs forum.
