  1. I would love the two-finger duplicate modifier to work when moving a selection within the same layer inside the selection persona. I commonly like to move copies of image parts within a single pixel layer. A good example is if I was creating a building face. I’d select a window, drag a copy, and then paint over the imperfections after moving it within a single layer. The current workaround is lengthy. I need to select the area I want to copy, switch to the photo persona, hit “duplicate”, move the copy, and then merge the layers together.
  2. It would be great to add a Quick Pinch gesture to Zoom to Fit command, like Procreate. It’s a time saver. Thanks for your consideration
  3. Hi I'm other applications it is possible to dedicate certain tools to finger gestures. So for instance if I'm currently using the vector brush tool and then draw a line with my apple pen, I can select the line by dragging my finger on the canvas without first tapping the selection tool. This makes the work flow much more convenient and it feels more like iOS than desktop. Please add that to a upcoming release!
  4. Hey everyone! Here is a recording I made with Affinity Designer 1.7 on iPad mini 5, iOS 12.2, visualizing touches set to true, showing the gestures fail a lot: https://www.shushustorm.com/_Uploads/Serif/iOS/1_7/PinchNotWorking.mp4 This shows the input itself does in fact get recognized. The gestures mostly fail when using thumb and index finger, but will mostly work when using index finger and middle finger. After some testing, I can say this is true for both Affinity products as well as for Procreate. Since the visualization shows that the input is indeed recognized, could there be an issue with iOS rejecting input because of palm rejection issues? Unfortunately, for me, persistently using index and middle finger is not an option. It's very inconventient. Best wishes, Shu EDIT: Also, I posted here about this as well: And again, the topics about this on the Procreate forums:https://procreate.art/discussions/4/10/27407https://procreate.art/discussions/4/10/28314
  5. Hi, the gesture „undo“ tap with two fingers works fine on my iPad Pro 9,7“ but the gesture „do again“ tap with three fingers doesn‘t work. On my husband´s iPad Pro 12“ everything is fine. My small iPad has iOS 12.0.1 I tried to remove and reinstall Affinity Designer again but same problem on the smaller iPad Pro again. Thanks for any idea what´s wrong
  6. Hello, Wouldn't it be easier if we could rotate an object using trackpad gesture?. Current implemented feature is rotating view using trackpad gesture. So, to rotate object it could be like; click the object we wanted to rotate, then hold shift and do the rotation gesture accordingly. In addition, you could do the same with object resizing with zoom gesture. Background issue: sometime it's little "annoying" pointing the cursor to the right spot to get rotation control on. To sum up, we all know that Mac's magic trackpad is one thing that make it standout from other hardware interfaces available on the market. And every Mac's user loves it. So why we wouldn't take it to its true potential? Thanks, Regards
  7. Would it be possible to add a modifier to temporarily override the default gesture for zoom (pinch)? Also, could you add support for the Rotate, two finger turn, gesture? I would like to scale and rotate a selected object using gestures on my trackpad.... When the Rotate Canvas feature comes online, that could be mapped to a modifier + rotate gesture... Thanks for adding support for and improve on default Mac OS conventions...
