  1. When I work on my Ipad Pro with Designer and I have many elements, for example bricks from a building I am drawing, as soon as I reach 40 or 50 and try to copy and paste it freezes and I lose my job. It is normal? Thank you
  2. Hello, today I tried to log into my affinity account, and it says: "Your account is frozen. Please contact the customer support" in German. So here I am. Whats happening? Why is it frozen? Have a nice day, Leo
  3. A few months ago I started having a problem with Designer & Photo where they frequently freeze while loading. They don't get past the title card. I found the only way to ensure they open is to restart the computer and run them again. This might indicate that there's maybe other apps interfering with them but I haven't yet figured out what it might be. I don't have any of the software on this list. I've run the Designer installer again and chosen 'repair' but this didn't fix the problem. I'm using Affinity Designer 1.5.3.69 on Windows 10 on a MS Surface Pro 4.
  4. Hey guys, hope you've all been well. Thanks to lots of great instruction from the AD community I've been able to learn much more while working on Affinity Designer. I've got a weird problem now and I'm not sure if it's due to something I did or what. Working on a new MacBook Pro with AD 1.5.4, I was playing/selecting from the colors panel and suddenly lost functionality when trying to select items from the anywhere, by any means. 90% of my menu options are disabled/grayed out and I'm unable to quit Designer in order to do a restart of my computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The AD app is basically frozen, yet I can flip to Affinity Photo and have full functionality. Any advice? Thanks in advance. -Christo
  5. I am not sure where to point this but need help. In-painting stopped half way through. Could not reverse. Screen is frozen. Escape key does not do anything. Affinity will not shut down. Document will not close. Computer will not shut down because Affinity is running. Please help.
  6. I created a image paint brush that is basically the text of the watermark I want to use on my images when I upload them online and I can't figure out how to change the colour. It seems like it is always in the colour black no matter what colour I have selected. It also doesn't seem to work... as in it's freezing constantly. I haven't been able to get one photo finished and all I'm doing is adding the watermark/ paint brush to it... no other editing is being done.
  7. I am using AD for sometime now and keep getting total freezes when zooming in and especially using the grab tool. This happend to me using OS Yosemite (10.10) and El Capitan (10.11). This is a total freeze, no crash report is written and there is no KP (kernel panic). I can however still reboot using SSH and restart the machine, it looks like the grapical interface is dead or disabled. This makes using AD a PITA, I really enjoy the performance and smoothness, but the freezes make it almost impossible to use. The freeze today was when I was working fullscreen, the only thing I see before the shit hits the fan is this: 13/10/15 14:53:10,572 WindowServer[251]: disable_update_timeout: UI updates were forcibly disabled by application "Affinity Designer" for over 1.00 seconds. Server has re-enabled them. 13/10/15 14:53:13,516 WindowServer[251]: common_reenable_update: UI updates were finally reenabled by application "Affinity Designer" after 3.94 seconds [0.25fps] (server forcibly re-enabled them after 1.00 seconds [1.00fps]) 13/10/15 14:53:16,045 Affinity Designer[955]: The object <LayerIconButton: 0x7fc51d2b5620> is not an NSControl subclass, but it is being used as the controlView for a cell. This is not allowed. 13/10/15 14:53:16,045 Affinity Designer[955]: The object <LayerSubItemIconButton: 0x7fc51d7eb900> is not an NSControl subclass, but it is being used as the controlView for a cell. This is not allowed. 13/10/15 14:53:16,666 WindowServer[251]: CGXDeleteWindowRegion: Operation on a window 0x17 requiring rights kCGSWindowRightOwner by caller Affinity Designer I am not a Cocoa programmer, but it looks like the WindowServer is having problems with AD. Can you help me make AD more productive, I have been doing some searching and I have read more reports about these freezes also in combination with the grab tool.
  8. I cannot get my tools menu that shows personas back. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong. I have tried all the menu options and cannot save my file to continue my work. See snapshot of the screen. Thanks Boris
