  10. I've made a brush set for painting that I'm quite happy with, and it's available via Gumroad. These are the brushes I use for painting images like the one attached. There's a free sample set that you can download for free, and the full set. They're all textured brushes with custom tips that I've made myself from scratch, all with pressure, size and opacity sensitivity made to mimic traditional painting brushes. It's not a big set but there's enough brushes to paint anything you could ever want to paint, and they're optimized to work without lag even at very large sizes. https://www.gumroad.com/adrianodocouto I'd highly appreciate it if anyone who downloads would leave me a rating, as that's crucial for exposure on the Gumroad platform. Cheers!
  11. Hi Sob storey first. Couple of months ago I have a crash, could not get much back from my system. All the backups would not restore. Spent a week working on getting it all back up and rebuilt to find it happened again. Cutting it short. I had installed a new sound card into the system and it was this that was causing the crashes. Once removed all back up and running for last 7 weeks. I have at last caught up and want to use my Affinity Designer. Only to find that all my resources have vanished. I have a particular need for the Network symbols and Layout ones . Honestly I have no idea where they came from whether they were internal to affinity or a freebie. Can anyone assist me with this please, where are they, are they affinity, if free where were they from. Any help greatly received. Only assets I seem to have are 'IOS 12'. pretty sure I had quite a range before the crash.
  12. Again, I have some "remains" from a client's project (like the engraving macros last time), which might be useful for one or two: Simple 2-file solution, which generates a fake ISO 3D map of any image, shape or even text. Easy to use. Just place your object(s) into one file and update the master file. Cut's colours editable via layer FX. Caution! Can be quite demanding on weaker systems. Available for free (just enter "0" as price) at Gumroad.

  14. I am attaching a free PDF called “Affinity Photo from Ten Thousand Feet.” This is a 41 page book that explains many of the concepts and questions that forum members ask frequently. Much of the information is based on presentations given to my local photography club. Some of it is based on a series of articles written for the club’s newsletter. Much of the book is newly written material, based on years of working to understand digital photography, how color works, and how Affinity Photo fits into that picture. Please enjoy the book. All I ask in return is that you look it over and leave a comment. Affinity_Photo_from_Ten_Thousand_Feet.pdf
