Of course they will not all work with every photo like all presets but I hope someone finds them useful : ) To upload them just click on the zip. file, then in the tone mapping persona on the presets menu; click "Import Presets", Enjoy! 6. I am attaching a free PDF called β€œAffinity Photo from Ten Thousand Feet.” This is a 41 page book that explains many of the concepts and questions that forum members ask frequently. Much of the information is based on presentations given to my local photography club. Some of it is based on a series of articles written for the club’s newsletter. Much of the book is newly written material, based on years of working to understand digital photography, how color works, and how Affinity Photo fits into that picture. Please enjoy the book. All I ask in return is that you look it over and leave a comment. Affinity_Photo_from_Ten_Thousand_Feet.pdf
  7. All my own work from scratch. Most of them can be re-coloured by changing the stroke colour. There is only one bat brush. Which way up the bats are depends on whether you draw from left to right or right to left. Free for personal and professional use. Have fun! Ginettes Witchy Brushes.afbrushes

  12. I'm sharing this template for golden ratio, original tutorial I followed was for Inkscape which I was previously using before falling in love with Affinity Designer. Original work is from Nick Saporito on youtube. Basically you use the set of "Golden Circles" to create an illustration by intersecting the different sizes of circles. Hope you guys enjoy using it for your own designs! golden-ratio.afdesign

  17. Hiya folks! πŸ–– I'm sure we're all dealing with the same stresses and frustrations brought on by the COVID-19 chaos (my country has been on full lockdown for a while now). It's important to stay busy to stop the cabin fever from kicking in, so I decided to create a little custom raster/pixel brush pack for Affinity apps - free for all! The brushes are not too complex, mimicking some traditional inking tools we all know and love, such as brush pens and fineliners. Perfect for those 'run-and-gun' illustrations where you just want to get to work and avoid the option-paralysis brought on by having to go through hundreds of custom brushes first. Included in the "Lockdown Liners" brush pack you'll find: 1 x HB Pencil (inspired by the Palomino Blackwing 602 pencil) 1 x Precision Eraser (inspired by the Tombow Mono eraser) 4 x Fineliners in Broad, Medium, Fine, and Ultra Fine (inspired by Pigma Micron technical pens) 1 x Brush Pen (inspired by the Tombow Fudenosuke Hard Tip brush pen) 1 x Gel Pen (inspired by the Sakura Gelly Roll) Fully compatible with Affinity Photo for desktop and iPad, and Designer's Pixel Persona for desktop and iPad. *Best used with a drawing tablet or iPad with Apple Pencil to take full advantage of the pressure sensitivity that the brushes offer. I'll likely make a few tweaks to the pack as I go along, but I'll be sure to update it on Gumroad when I do so that everyone who has already downloaded it can be notified. Hopefully you can create some cool work with the brushes to help pass the time while we're all stuck indoors - if you do, be sure to tag me on Instagram, http://www.instagram.com/christidutoit, I'd love to see what you make! Here's the download link to the brushes on Gumroad: http://www.gum.co/lockdownliners As mentioned, these brushes are totally free to download and use, just type $0 in the price tab and click "I Want This!". Stay safe out there! - Christi. ☠️
  18. Apologies if this question has been posed before, but I can't find an answer. Can anybody tell me what limitations are imposed on the free trial versions of Designer and Photo.
  19. Hi Sob storey first. Couple of months ago I have a crash, could not get much back from my system. All the backups would not restore. Spent a week working on getting it all back up and rebuilt to find it happened again. Cutting it short. I had installed a new sound card into the system and it was this that was causing the crashes. Once removed all back up and running for last 7 weeks. I have at last caught up and want to use my Affinity Designer. Only to find that all my resources have vanished. I have a particular need for the Network symbols and Layout ones . Honestly I have no idea where they came from whether they were internal to affinity or a freebie. Can anyone assist me with this please, where are they, are they affinity, if free where were they from. Any help greatly received. Only assets I seem to have are 'IOS 12'. pretty sure I had quite a range before the crash.
  20. I've made a brush set for painting that I'm quite happy with, and it's available via Gumroad. These are the brushes I use for painting images like the one attached. There's a free sample set that you can download for free, and the full set. They're all textured brushes with custom tips that I've made myself from scratch, all with pressure, size and opacity sensitivity made to mimic traditional painting brushes. It's not a big set but there's enough brushes to paint anything you could ever want to paint, and they're optimized to work without lag even at very large sizes. https://www.gumroad.com/adrianodocouto I'd highly appreciate it if anyone who downloads would leave me a rating, as that's crucial for exposure on the Gumroad platform. Cheers!
  21. Again, I have some "remains" from a client's project (like the engraving macros last time), which might be useful for one or two: Simple 2-file solution, which generates a fake ISO 3D map of any image, shape or even text. Easy to use. Just place your object(s) into one file and update the master file. Cut's colours editable via layer FX. Caution! Can be quite demanding on weaker systems. Available for free (just enter "0" as price) at Gumroad.
  22. Here is a greyscale noise(100%) palette I created while working on some metallic surfaces. This is a vector - texture palette that doubles as a pixel greyscale palette (duel use). Enjoy, - T V Grey Noise.afpalette
