  1. Was I wrong to expect that a native Serif file-type could be imported into Affinity Photo?
  2. Hello support of affinity, I work with astronomical images from different astronomical standard digital cooled CCD cameras. She worked with the astronomy standard .fit format. To you plan in the future to supported it? In the attachment you find an example of fit-file. She represented a part of the Andromeda Galaxie in red filter. fit are SW images. To you can than combined images of different filters to obtain a color image. You can open this one file with the free program of the NASA and ESA "fit liberator". You find it under: https://www.spacetelescope.org/projects/fits_liberator/ its works on windows MAC, Linux etc. They are a lot of user they have more interested in your program... Thank in advance for your answer. Best Regards Dr. Dölling Astronomical Observatory Aurora Germany rdoelling@aol.com
  3. I've updated the lasted version of Affinity today (ver 1.5.0.7), this version can't export *.afdesign files to *.pdf files. But the older version can be. I don't know why, please check it. Here are my files: http://www.mediafire.com/download/96qzqsb8p22r76s/Logo.rar
  4. Hi, I've done some artwork in affinity and I used a blur feature. I tried to export it as svg and the artwork looks generaly ok unless the parts where I used blured objects for shading. When I open the file in affinity it looks quite ok but I tried to open it in Inkscape (the Illustrator crashed when I tried to open it) and it looks like in the picture below. I don't know if it's a bug or if I exported it a bad way or it may be common export issue. I didn't found similar topic so sorry if I aks already answered question. MM
  5. Hi, Should be really great if it would be possible saving project in AI format to import them in after effect. Actually, when i use the PDF format, there's some problems with the transparency and gradient. Thanx and thanx for this awesome software!
  6. Please add support for .icns files. I have a few logos in that format I'm trying to place in the project and they are greyed out.
  7. Hello! The possibility to change the color space/format at export without needs to change documents setup. Every time I'm working for impression(CMYK) when I need to send a preview to my clients, I have to change the document setup to RGB and then export to jpg or png and then go back to document setup and re-set the color format to CMYK......... Regards!
  8. Dumb question cancelled. Should wait till I wake up before posting :-) But it does raise the issue of the contrast of controls and accessibility for people with impaired vision (and those who are just tired). Much of the design is 'cool' black and grey. I do not have particularly poor vision, but I find this lack of contrast a real pain. This is a screen grab of a drawing tab. I have to click on the X to close it. There is a grey X in the top left, but it could be a lot clearer. The Prefs/UI Gamma setting does not increase contrast enough. Are there plans to replace the grey with white and generally increase visual accessibility of the whole app? Cheers. RPJ
  9. Are there any plans to add support for importing from Pixelmator's .pxm file format? It would be a nice to not have to export to PSD when working between two of my favorite applications. Here is an example .pxm file for your reference (I wasn't allowed to attach it to this post). Thank you for the outstanding application and support!
