Hi everyone, I am completley new to affinity and purchased both affinity photo and affinity design. I would really like to learn how to make flyers for clubs and events but am clueless as to what to do. Dear Affinity-Community, I hope you can help me in this case ! I created a flyer using Affinity Designer. Colors are CMYK (ISO Coated v2 300% (ECI)). For this flyer I have approx. 50 photos of leather watch straps, where the color is one of the most important things. I edited these photos in Photoshop CC and they really looked fine in PS CC (also CMYK !). The colors are very rich and deep if you are looking at the photos in Photoshop CC. Then I exported the photos from Photoshop and saved them as PNG (CMYK / ISO Coated v2 300% (ECI)). Also the image looked fine when I opened it at the preview on the iMac. But as soon as I import this image to Affinity Designer, the colors are very very pale ! I hope you can help me get this problem under control. Thank you in advance ! Best regards Lucas -

Eight flyers and an Brochure created in AD for a new client opening the UKs largest (I'm told) Parkour and trampoline park. Pretty scary sending these off to print, however 15,000 booklets came back looking brilliant.

Dear Affinity team and users, I came recently across your product. I am currently looking for a product which covers my interests. I am more of a developer than a designer, but occasionally I have or want to do some design work my self. Most of the time I get asked to design a simple website, create a Flyer to print or a Logo. For my pet projects I would like to be able to create game assets for 2D development (e.g. Pixel Art) and UI-elements. I am also interested into digital painting and own a Wacom tablet. Until yesterday, I thought I am going to buy Pixelmator/Acorn and Sketch, then I saw your product. For the Flyer and Logo use cases, it seems that the Affinity Designer is the perfect solution. Is AD also capable to solve my other use cases? How does it compare to Software like Sketch which is focused on Web/UI? Is web and UI design a use case that you try to solve with your product?
