  1. Using AP 1.6.4.104 on Win10 Pro 64-bit (build 17134.228), running 32GB on AMD Ryzen 5 1600 six-core at 3.20GHz) I was learning from your tutorials and when learning about masking when I used the Flood Seletion tool, AP appeared to stall with the message of "Not Responding" at the top of the screen. Can't believe I don't have enough memory, so what could it be. Only AP and Firefox (v.61.0.2, 64bit) are running. Any thoughts???
  2. Hello! I would really like to have the option to save the Flood Selection Tool settings by default because whenever I work on multiple files I have to do for each independent file the following process: Select the Flood Select Tool Go to the menu bar Click the tolerance button Set the tolerance to 0 Uncheck the Contiguous box. Do my work on the file Repeat...
  3. I'm pretty new to Affinity Photo, but I've used the Flood Select Tool a lot in the past. It's not working for me, however, on a certain image. If I create a new document and paint a little and then click in my paint with the Flood Select Tool it works, but if I paste an image in and try to use it in the "(image)" layer it doesn't work. If I then merge that image layer down to my pixel layer I'm again able to use the Flood Select Tool to select color areas of the image. Can someone explain what's going on here? Thanks.
  4. I noticed when making a selection on an image (pixel), using the Flood Select Tool, the Right Mouse Button which is used to Add to the selection (according to the Tooltip in lower-left) does not work.
  5. Hi all, Would it be possible to add support for the Flood Fill Tool and Flood Select Tool to read all the layers? Cheers, Juan
  6. Hey, so I've just started using Affinity for cleaning and translating Manga. one thing that I've been looking for and miss from using Photoshop is selecting several objects with the Magic wand tool. The Flood select tool is awesome but I can't seem to select more than one thing at the time with it. I know I can use the Selection brush tool and do it manually but for the task of selecting individual letters, it's just faster to do it one by one. So what I'm wondering is if I'm missing something and there is a way to select more objects at once or if the brush selection tool is
  7. Hi, This is related to Affinity Photo just purchased in the Affinty shop. When I use the Flood Select Tool the picture disappears and the selected is much more than I wanted it to be, sometimes even entire picture, Please have a look at the video: Flood Select Tool issue. What can be causing such problem? Jakub
  8. I have a photo (Screenshot #1) that shows venue illumination for a private event we've covered (the tree & table lighting's photos are the problems to fix via AP). The problem is that the camera "perceived" the background trees in an awful & unnatural light tint ("florescent"-looking green & cold white) which looks nothing like it did in real-life; so I am trying to fix those areas to make the photo look like the setting actually did. I have made various adjustments to the photo (saturation, exposure, white balance, brightness, color adjustments etc) and have made the table li
  9. Hi First off I'd to thank the developers for such excellent software. Here's a thing: I have a photo which I've straightened. This of course leaves a blank area on the edge of each side. Wishing to select a blank area on just one side I use the Flood Fill tool making sure to tick the 'contiguous' box. However each area on each side gets selected. I've tried it with the contiguous box both ticked & unticked but still no joy. Suggestions please.
