  1. I cant find anything similar with "color lookup" pre-defined color filter (As you can find in Photoshop) on Affinity Photo. Does anybody know if exists a similar feature here? If not, is it possible to create and save pre-defined automatic color adjustments? Many thanks!
  2. I may be one of the the last to update a software.. yet, I watched the tutorial on haze removal before updating, before I updated. And I can not seen to find the "Haze Removal" under the filter tab. Geez, (Silly me) I apologize. I'm uploading to Aperture on my Mac Book Pro (giggles, a lot of pro and needed more book!).
  3. I want to convert to mac and need a program such as yours. At present I use PS10. I need a filter simular or equal to the one in PS ie: Filter---> Artistic ----> Cutout This filter makes a photo look as if one has cutout pieces of paper to make a photo using a reduced pallat of color. Is this achieavable in Affinity photo ---- Regards, drawde simular to attached jpeg.
  4. Hey guys! Today I played around with the displace live filter. It’s a very nice and powerful tool to simulate folds of cloths, but also cracks in walls (like shown in one of the official tutorial videos by Affinity), grainy paper textures and so on … This is my first »tutorial« … ever. If you may call it one. So forgive me for eventual mistakes. Though It’s pretty much self-explanatory and not that hard to follow, I think. ;) Like I captioned the video: basically you want to create a separate image with a greyscale profile (at least that’s how I do it), reduced noise and texture plus a good balance between high, low and mid values. Grey fabrics work best if you want to change the colour afterwards. Maybe this helps, have fun playing around with different backgrounds! ;) Cheers Dennis
  5. I've been playing around with the vignette filter in AP and am wondering if it is possible to move the clear part of the vignette to somewhere other than the center of the image. Is there some kind of work-around that I can use? Thanks
  6. Hi there, I've been testing affinity photo for 3 months now. had to stop for some time because of buggy behavior of previous versions. Since I am editing photos on a daily basis using photoshop, I cannot afford much distraction or slowing down of my regular editing workflow. So I test the app here and there. It still takes me twice the amount of time to edit a picture using Affinity photo compared to photoshop. This is not about the quality of this app. I have high regard in it and I hope to replace all my adobe products with these programs in the near future! I am sure my workflow will become faster the more frequently I use this app. One thing that came up today was the existence of a filter that somewhat mimics photoshops "median" functionality. I sometimes have a shape that I want to smoothen a little. I do that with the median filter. How can this be achieved?
  7. Hi Affinite Designer! The german translation of DEPTH OF FILED should be Schärfentiefe, not Tiefenschärfe, as it is called in the last Beta iteration of Affinity Photo Beta 3. Greets Daniel PS: Rock'n'roll software, you created - I am looking forward to Affinity Publisher!! ;-)
  8. Where is the library panel? I was looking at the video with the instagram like filters but can't seem to find it Thanks, awesome job!
