Hi guys! I've been working on this template file to create social media branding material for my clients. I've managed to create a single file with multiple artboards (each one with it's export presets) ready for use. You are welcome to delete the ones that you will not use (so you don't generate empty files on export). It also includes flat icons from each platform just in case you might need them. It's updated for 2017 according to this data from Social Sprout. Hope you find it as useful as me. Leave a comment if you like/use it. If you are going to post it anywhere else, please add the proper credits Thanks! social-media-templates.afdesign

Hello, I am in a non-profit association and have to do the flyers for our events for facebook and instagram. I am looking for templates that I can work on for latino / salsa / disco events. How and where can I find any? Which ones suit Affinity? Is there a place on Affinity where I can find nice backgrounds? Thank you for your help. Angela

I am trying to join certain Affinity Facebook groups, which ask for a code supposedly found in the "rules" on the website "affinity-group.community." When I go there, and click on Rules, they do not show therefore there is no "red letter code" to be found! This is pretty ridiculous, honestly. I've been using Affinity avidly since they first came out. I have attached snapshots of both the Affinity site (that's supposed to have the code), and the FB page popup window. What the heck?!?! Help please, as I would very much like to join these groups as a long time loyal customer should be treated.

Hi guys, im posting here as i've tried to find the answer to my question but im now really struggling. I've taken photos of all my new products for my website and im really happy with the quality, however when uploading to facebook they loose far too much quality and even go a little discoloured. Now as i can't find any step by step guides on how to export from Affinity and then upload to facebook, i've had to watch a similar video but with photoshop instead. IT SAYS.... Export at 2048 x 2048 Select SRGB Reduce file quality so file size is below 100kb I've uploaded the photo as it appears on my businesses facebook page. Note the discolouration on the concrete heads cheeks. Blurriness of the coloured pots and clock strap. I'm just not happy with it but what do you think? My competitors photos seem to be a little better Thank you all for any help you send my way, I'm in need of it! Steve

Hello. Could someone help me? I am exporting an image to be used on Instagram and Facebook but the red always comes out with very bad quality as I can see. I've tried saving in JPG, PNG but it didn't help. Would I have a tutorial on how to export images to social networks without losing quality? I thank you all.

Hi there, I'm not sure if this is the correct forum but is there anywhere where I could access social media mockups, or mockups in general? I'm new to Affinity and still learning the ropes as it were. Thank you so much.

Hello everyone, From today i believe i have to start sharing few of our design works (actually i'm working alone but i do build a team from time to time depending on project size ) Most of our client/requesters are Church based and we really enjoy doing stuffs for them but what you will se here is more about Smarty Studio standing with other studio/teams together into what is to become Congolese Design Style. Well each country have it's own style of design but Congo doesn't have a proper thus most of Congolese designers simply clone/copy styles from everywhere. This is a beginning, please your inputs on each design palet/kit will be of great help and will help us improving better. Blessings !

Hi, to check text dimensions for Facebook ads, is necessary use a % value in grid. In Photoshop is possibile set grid to 20% and it show a grid that have 5 box in vertical and 5 box in horizontal. It be able me to check text dimensions that will not be occupy over 5 box (both horizontal and vertical). In Photo and Designer this isn't possible. Can you evaluate to release this feature? Thanks Daniele

I find that everytime I need to design a header, I find myself scrounging for the latest, least confusing article with facebook's updated size specs and personal tricks to get Facebook's resizing to look halfway decent. In all lilkelyhood, something similar happens to others, with FB or other digital platforms. It would be useful for Facebook, Instagram, and any other commonly designed-for platforms and applications, to be available as presets. Besides standard sizing, export presets, such as JPG for instagram, or 2x size for facebook on retina displays, would also save time and make life easier. I like how Affinity has presets for different devices. This would be an extension to that, with Web Apps / Social Media / or some other category encompasing this group, as I'm only mentioning a couple platforms that come to mind at this moment. Much like we design for physical devices, we're also increasingly designing for digital environments and some are common enough that they might warrant a quick access within Affinity, in my experience and opinion. Cheers!

Hi Guys, I am looking for some direction here as I have read through many of the forum articles on this topic but it just doesn't seem to work for me. I am uploading my cover photo image to facebook and no matter how I export from designer it still looks like crap and pixelated when uploaded. I have set me size to 851px by 315px made sure I am below 100kb selected SRGB and no matter what it still looks like crap. What am I doing wrong? am I exporting it incorrectly? I have tried it in both JPEG and PNG and the result looks the exact same. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Facebook has introduced an app for dual-camera smart phones that creates a depth map from a pair of images and creates a 'solid' image with parallax; that is, as you tilt your device or move your mouse over the image objects move slightly to give an illusion of depth. I've been making 'static' stereo pairs for years, and I've made one or two so-called 2.5D videos, but I've been wondering if there's a fairly straightforward way to do something like the app does -- and without writing reams of code! I'm still putting my mind to the problem, but can anyone point me in the right direction and lighten the load? Here's an article that explains the techie stuff about the app: https://techcrunch.com/2018/06/07/how-facebooks-new-3d-photos-work/?guccounter=1 (This may be the wrong place for me to ask, so admin might want to move it to somewhere more appropriate.)

Just a suggestion - it would be nice if we could export direct to Social Media and Popular Photo Sharing sites, i.e Flickr, SmugMug, Facebook, Instagram etc
