  1. DDS file Export Request for PC. May I suggest you add export to DDS file - DirectDraw Surface (DDS), to your program. Many People use this type of file in gaming to place textures on models / objects. If this is already in the program please let me know and where it is located to export. Thank You.
  2. Hi When you export a photo from AP it defaults to the original size of the image. I am trying to create a profile or want default size to be set at my desired size. As many users know posting photos on FB , if the file size is bigger than 2048 px on its longer side then they compress and quality is compromised. I want AP to show me the the size that I have set, at the export window. Is this possible to set a desired photo size and when completed and I am ready to export AP shows me my default size so I don't have to make changes manually.
  3. Have updated to 1.7.1 this morning. I have edited a jpg and wish to save the file using layers, thus saving to native file. Same issue when exporting files. Wish to save to Photos Folder on Win10 1903 (or any other folder) Click save as, assign a file name and I get ""File not found. Check file name and try again"" I can however save the file to my Downloads Folder, but no other. I prefer to save working files to my desktop rather than a folder, but I'm not fussed if I have to use a dedicated folder. It is as if Photo is not seeing folders / folder locations other than my Downloads Folder. All other apps I am using in terms of writing, are working fine. I have not tried Designer yet. Please note this is a Windows Issue in security - turn off controlled folders and the issue is solved. (thanks for the forum)
  4. Why iPad version of Affinity saves projects in app instead of icloud drive affinity folder, i guess the ipad version should link it main screen to affiniy photo folder in icloud file app, if i update from ipad i can use same on mac, but in this case i have to export project to icloud drive in order to use it on mac, and if i forget to export then i cant open that project on mac, same as if i export that project in icloud and edit it on mac then i want to do something on ipad with same file then ill have to open from icloud and that copies to ipad version but not updating the icloud version, with this practice the more i import the more copies ill get on ipad version, which is quiet waste of space.
  5. Hello, I have been using Affinity only during the last few weeks and I am pretty happy with it. However, as other users, I missing some small things. One of them is the capacity to record a macro in which exporting a file is part of that macro. When I tried that, an Affinity pop-up window said it was not possible to record it. It would be very useful to record the action of exporting a file as one of the available types to a specific location. Thank you and keep the good work!
