  1. Every eps file I import into Affinity Designer 2 looks awful. The graphics are separated into unusual sections and gradients and shadows are changed (misplaced or redrawn) and some graphic elements look as though they have been rasterized (The graphic no longer appears smooth and well drawn.... they look pixelated). Every single eps I've tried to import turns out this way. Is there a setting that needs to be adjusted? Not sure how useful Designer will be if it can't handle eps files. Please help. I've attached and eps and a jpg of the same file to you can see the two and how Designer is treating the eps. Daniel Christmas background blue v kr.eps
  2. Hello, I have an EPS file I got from Vecteesy (attached / link) and have been trying to open it with Affinity Designer or Photo, but when I try I get a blank page (also attached). I'm able to open it with Photoshop, so I know the file isn't corrupted. At the moment I need to work with those vectors in Affinity Designer. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you in advance. vintagebulb.eps
  3. Hello. I thought EPS is vector until I zoom EPS file. EPS is not vector? Thank you so much.
  4. Hi everyone ! Just a quick question/request as there are numerous topics in the older forums already over the last 3+ years (moved my question as I've noticed that the other forum is deprecated, the old post can be deleted): Is there any news about importing editable text in *.eps files? I've bought Affinity Designer a few days ago and now searched the forums after struggling with the non-editable text in those files... If not: That would make a great feature request😂 Affinity Designer is really an awesome tool but this is a core thing (in my opinion) as most of the *.eps templates we're working with require text editing 😕 Thanks and best regards 😊
  5. Hello, Data with an elliptical gradation is broken when saved and opened in EPS format. If you open the EPS file with other software, the image will be correct, so it is considered a reading problem. Restructuring procedure 1. Output the file with elliptical gradation in EPS. -> ① 2. Open the EPS file in 1. with Affinity Designer 3. Color and gradation are incorrect-> ②. Attachment ① Created image (correct image) ② Incorrect image and affinity sample file. 6. Hi, I've imported a purchased EPS file to AP and it comes in as a layered file with the first layer being an identical of the second layer which is titled 'image.' If I flatten the image in order to edit it (I need to rearrange objects within the graphic by cutting and pasting, erasing, etc.) it becomes rasterized and loses definition. If I try and select just a portion of the graphic with the lasso tool to move it AP moves the whole graphic. How can I edit this graphic without rasterizing it? Thank you!
