  1. This is my impression from the result of super scaling a very low-res image. So AI/DL/ML tools are lucrative. Feel free to comment. additions/revises are welcome. 2. Dear all, I have an outdoor exposition coming up, for which 20 of my photos (bug portraits) will be printed on 1,3m x 1,3m boards (51x51 inch). Is there any option in Affinity Photo to upscale, to add pixels (as in: a higher ppi)? The photos are originally 6240 x 4160, but since the prints will be square, they will be cropped. Do I need something like Topaz Gigapixel, or is there a tool in Affinity Photo that can do something similar? Cheers!
  3. Hi! I made repeat pattern tiles in Affinity Photo, and want to make wallpaper out of them. Could anyone tell me how big I can resize these tiles, so I know how big I can make the pattern tiles in the wallpaper? The pattern tiles are: 3000 x 3000 pixels 300 dpi 5000 x 5000 pixels 600 dpi Thank you very much!
  4. ON1 emailed me today promoting their latest plugin. "The new version includes performance enhancements and new features that make it even easier and faster to resize photos without losing sharpness and detail." My question is, given that Affinity Photo has photo enlarging features, do I need this as well? Does anyone know how they compare? I ask because some of my photo-based artwork looks fine at 5"x7" but I want to create professional art prints at 11x14. Thanks.
  5. I'm finding that my prints from Designer for iPad are enlarged. My tests of a 1 x 7 (inch) object prints at 1+ x 7.125". When printing through my Designer PC app, there is no issue. Only through the iPad. Since I can't control the printer (HP 9010) settings on the iPad - how an I control this? thanks
  6. It'll be great if there is a feature for Glyph Browser where a glyph/character's enlarged preview can be seen while hovering (or one-click) over it. This comes handy especially with handwriting style fonts with very tiny glyphs like these where it's a hassle to find the right one because of the size. It's a Malayalam language font and I've to rely on Glyph Browser as Malayalam is unsupported by Affinity.
  7. Hey everyone! I just recently obtained AD, and I am completely new to any graphic designer software. I have been using AP for the past couples year though. My question is, how do a enlarge an EPS file and export. When I attempted to do this on my own the canvas does not expand with the image(See screen shot). Any help is appreciated!
  8. I'd like to have an option for not to enlarge photos over 100% in batch job when I specify W or H size. I use batch job for resizing photos for web and I want to resize only for big ones, not enlarge smaller ones to reach W or H size.
