  1. Someone on Twitter says there's a bug with dual monitor setup. After closed Affinity window by clicking red button and click the app icon on Dock , only menu bar on secondary monitor become active. When create a new document from the secondary menu bar, menu bar on primary monitor flashes. until clicking primary menu bar, the new document won't show up. Sometimes the new document has artifacts. iMac 27" 2017 macOS 10.12.6 Affinity Designer 1.8.3
  2. I came across a visual bug that happens every time I work with both of my monitors. I have two views open, one floated on my second screen and one docked on my main screen, while I work in the Development Persona with a .nef file and everything is fine. But when I then develop the picture one view gets brighter than the other(see reference images) which must be a visual bug as the picture itself is not changing its properties. This sometimes happens on my second screen but also sometims on my main monitor and also happens sometimes when using the crop tool with dual monitors, but not as reliable. The fix I found for this is to dock and re-float the bugged view or close and reopen the view if it was already docked. I am using the newest Affinity Version 1.7.2.471 on Windows 10. 3. Hi all - I'm new to Designer having used Illustrator for many years. I think the bottom-line question I have is: Can I assign a short-cut key to a Studio? I've looked through all the options on the short-cut keys and didn't find that option, but maybe its there and I just can't see it? Here is my problem: I have a dual monitor setup. Designer is open on my second monitor, and I've made a second view of my drawing and placed it on my Surface Pro so I can draw directly on the surface pro (close up) and see the overall image on the larger monitor. I have pulled the color wheel palette down to the Surface Pro in order to have quicker access to the color wheel while drawing. Each time I select a color and then start drawing, the color wheel palette disappears behind the art board on the surface pro. The only way to get the color wheel palette back is to reduce the size of the art board and drag the palette back up. OR short-cut CTRL+SHIFT+H to hide all the studios and then the same thing to call them all back which does put the color wheel palette back on top of my drawing. I thought perhaps it had something to do with the art board on the surface pro being a "second view" so I put that art board back on the large monitor and pulled the original art board down to the surface pro. Same problem. The color wheel palette stays put on the main monitor, but I still have to grab my mouse, select the color, let go of the mouse and then return to draw with my surface pen. I thought maybe "floating" the color wheel palette would help, but it didn't. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
  4. Hi! I'm new to Affinity. I'm trying the mac version with a iPad version as well. It's a great workflow to use it on-the-go, and finished my work when I back home. But I tried to replicate a great feature I had in PS. A dual monitor view. In PS I could replicate the window I'm woking on, and edit one on my cintiq (zooming, rotating without effect on the other) and watch the result in fit mode, on second monitor. I'm missing something, or it's not possible (I hope yet) this feature? Thanks

  6. I'd love the ability to have a full screen preview of my working document on a secondary monitor. This way, one can work in one monitor, while always checking the "big picture" on another. Currently one can separate all the UI in AP, then create a new view and drag that to monitor 2. This is not ideal because it has to be done for each image and it negates the use of the nice cohesive interface. In Photoshop, I can do this by just separating the navigation panel, moving it to the second monitor, and enlarging it. AP's nav panel does not up its resolution one doing this. In Lightroom, this is built in as a feature, where the second monitor always shows a full sized preview. Thank you, Andres
