Hey there, today, I set out to do a piece of environment art in Affinity Photo to see if it can hold up against PS. Unfortunately, it showed right away that a lot of my repetitive tasks require quite a few extra steps compared to my usual workflow. I have multiple renderings in the same resolution and want to drop them into one file but Affinity does not center dropped images so I have to drop, move and snap every image to the canvas. Since there are no smart objects in Affinity, I understand that the list of possible drag & drop features is rather short but an automatic centering option would be a big help. Thank you in advance! Hello, I wrapping a book, and a letter many times goes to end of line (this letter is "a" what is "the"). How can I set Publisher for one character drop to new line automatically?

Experimenting with frame text in Affinity Publisher Beta, it does not seem possible to select a portion of text, and then drag and drop that selection from one place to another within a story. Of course, one can always cut, move the cursor, and then paste; but it would be useful to simply select -- say -- an entire paragraph, or a sentence, and drag-and-drop it to a new location.

My version Affinity Beta for iPad 1.6.7.67 constantly crashes when using the drag n drop feature. I've tried to drag n drop 100+ images to 30 images with the same result. Crash crash crash. I'm running iOS 11.3 beta 7 on 2nd gen iPad pro 12.9. I have even tried to do a hard reset with the same results. Also the implanting brush is exterior laggy.

Hey guys, Since the 1.5.1 Designer update, I've had a problem with the font drop down menu when using text. It seems that a new feature causes the font that I'm hovering over to appear at the top of the recently used list. However, the font previews in the drop down are different sizes, so when they appear at the top of the list, everything gets shifted, and it has become impossible to choose certain fonts, simply because of the other two fonts they are between. Very frustrating! Does anyone have a fix? Is it possible to make the preview sizes the same, or eliminate this feature? Is there a preference menu for the font drop down list? Please see photo attached and notice the font with a check mark near it, but it is not included in my recently used. :( Thanks!

Hi. I would like to see the eyedropper tool expanded beyond transferring only color, to transferring formatting as in Adobe InDesign, et al.

I suggested this in the Designer Mac Beta Thread but I also wanted to post it here in the Features Requests as it is technically a request. I would like to see the ability to drag and drop colour swatches from the Colour Palette on to objects in Designer. I would also like to be able to drag and drop objects into the colour palette and have a swatch made of the same colour. Thanks, Hokusai
