Hey Affinity community! Over the last few days I've been tinkering with an alternative app icon for JOEY, an Android client for Reddit. I originally saw a post on Reddit where a user presented their attempt at an alternative symbol. I asked them if I could try my hand at it and refine it a bit and they agreed. These icons are the result and they were quite happy with the outcome. (Please click the preview for more details.) Any constructive criticism is welcome!

Hello al, I'm on a bit of an information hunt about how to emulate an affect/art style. For the Gamers out there, a man known as Shinkiro ( his art style ) is a well known cross-over fighting game artist, however over the years I've noticed there doesn't seem to be anyone who can emulate his exact digital enhancement process. And even after putting out a bounty for artist who can emulate it since I can't directly contact him, I've still had no luck, so I'm wondering if anyone in here my at least be able to device the formula of getting close to it, or bare minimum possibly direct me to artist who can get close? I'll attach some examples below. Please Note: I'm not interested in an "anime/animu" aesthetic I'm interested in finding peoples who can digitally create his process or atleast get close to it. After the disappointment of a missed opportunity with the re-design of the new 24" iMac, and after seeing loads of posts from other mac users voicing similar disappointment, I thought I'd have a shot at something more inline with something I would want to buy while still retaining the chin, although saying that I think I'd only buy another iMac if they allowed Apple Pencil support so you could draw directly on the screen - I also think it's current ugliness could be rectified with stickers (I'll give it a week or so before you'll be able to pre-order a sticker kit from somewhere) ----- white bezels??? just adding back a small Apple logo gives the 'chin' purpose, and for me, works in the same way as seeing someone without a navel - anyway find attached for anyone interested an all vector re-design for anyone to download and play with - I have it set up as snapshots for each colour which are all setup as global colours. Hello Everyone and the Dev. Team. 1st I'm not asking to Serif of any of team to copy and implement this as it is presented. 2nd I'm all good with what the Affinity line of products have to offer in its current state of release. But on the other hand taking this as example of indication of what Serif can enable on the Affinity product isn't a bad thing and many will surely get good profit of this. The last client illustration project I worked on in 2020, and the first one I've posted in 2021 - had an absolute blast creating this! 👾 I used Affinity Designer (for plotting the initial layout and perspective guides), and Affinity Photo, with an XP-Pen tablet, for the drawing/painting, colouring, and finishing effects. Made with Designer and Photo. I went through the movie frame by frame for references and then came up with something that was a little modern but more anchored in the art deco design of the original movie. I also looked through Willis O'Brien's pre-production images of Kong since i wanted him to have a rougher look.

So, this guy is a young twitch streamer I have played siege with for a while and he wanted a new logo for his channel. He really liked Shrouds S logo icon and wanted a similar effect with a G. I think i came pretty close with this iteration and as always enjoy your feedback. Red was the requested color and I solved it by using negative space with a red outline because the inverse "looks like a muppet" according to people around me. Twitch: gilleyg edit: I redrew the icon G 8 times in case anyone is curious. This is my 8th iteration.

I was wondering if anyone in the Affinity organization ever considered producing 3D CAD software? It would seem that it could be a good fit for your product line, and if it was produced with the same fantastic features that are in your other products I am sure it would be successful. Just some food for thought. Keep up the good work!! Ron

It can be cost a little bit, no problem, so i search on the website "Creative Market" but i am not sure, what the best or if that is what i need. Can you recommend some tool for me? Best regards. Hi affinity, there is no possibility to Export All preferences or settings including View, Editing, also there is no way to export "New project-> MY PRESETS" so please add the possibility in the next updates, I mean Export/Import. Thanks 💙.
