Hi. I am re-arranging my cv/portfolio in Publisher. As it is right now, I am using A4 next to each other, but I would like the cover to be an A3. Is it possible to convert "Page 1" to an A3? I know I could have two A4, but I do not want the middle division in the PDF document. Thank you

Would really like the ability to increase size and readability of icons and related text on both desktop and iPad. Frankly, I am shocked this isn't in V2 of Affinity Designer especially although I have licensed the three products in the suite.-

Hi, This has been a frustrating issue since V1 that I hoped would be fixed by V2. Unfortunately it still hasn't. When trying to customize the toolbar what happens most of the times is the entire window gets dragged, making it almost impossible to rearrange elements and spaces. For what it's worth, this issue is present in all three apps of the suite and in both MacBooks I've tested. Here's a video showing what happens: Screen Recording 2022-11-09 at 18.52.12.mov

Hi there, I just finished my first illustration on Affinity Photo, and I can finally think I've found a good alternative to Adobe's softwares Especially one where I can recreate some of my long term habits from Adobe and remain efficient. The only problem I encounter is that I'm really, really used to control the size of my tools with the 2 and 3 key on the top left of the pad (so, rather the é and "). I find it to be the most comfortable for me as my left hand is always around there on the keypad while I'm drawing (oh look, there's also the ctrl and z keys nearby ). Well, so, it was quite disturbing that these num keys, by default, control the tool opacity and you can't change it at all. For now I've combined them with "alt" to control the brush/eraser size but (when I don't forget to press alt) it sometimes creates a conflict with the color picker shortcut (and I'm also used to constantly pick colors with alt). I don't know if I'm the only one wo needs to customize these keys but it would be really great if we could. Thank you and keep up the good work Serif ! -
So to use dynamic zoom you have to hit spacebar then ctrl. Is there a way to swap this or allow it to do both? I'm so used to hitting ctrl + spacebar. With my mindset being: start from the outside of the keyboard and working my way inward while hitting hotkeys. Thanks!

more specific context menu entries for each tools and an option to customize the context menu in settings.

By default, the panel to modify Adjustment layers appears at the bottom. This creates problems when you have dual monitors in vertical layout, or if you have a floating video player in that corner (for tutorials etc.) I know you can move each Adjustment panel individually, but I would like all Adjustment panels to appear by default on the top-left and/or be able to drag it into a floating toolbar (as indicated in the screenshot). Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks!

Hello, Thanks to the team for this great tool that is Affinity designer ! This feature ( request ? ) could somehow be understood as the equivalent of brushes in Affnity Photo... The triangle tool and others ( Trapezoïd / Diamond etc...) are neat and really practical ! is there a possibility ( or any plans in the future ) to have an acces to build / add / customize other tools by myself and to add them to the UI? o- suppose i want to create a "logic gate diagram", i would have to use AND, OR, XOR ( and others ) gate symbols. - i could create a tool for each symbol - add handles to customize it ( radius, height etc.. ) as seen as the little red dot. - the description of each tool is a file that would be imported in Affinity designer. Many thanks for your consideration, for taking the time to read my request, and for this great App !

I am using the pen tool in Affinity Designer to create shapes, and the default stroke weight is 0.2 pt. However, I primarily use the stroke weight of 5 pt. Can I change the default to 5 pt? -
I want to be able to add menu items to my toolbar. I would like to add "Export", "Group", and "Ungroup". In other graphic programs, I could add any menu item to the tool bar. that makes repetitive tasks faster and easier. And is there a "close all"? And can I add it to my toolbar? thanks

I've always had my own custom keyboard shortcuts and now changing over to Affinity Photo (on Windows10) I'm trying to create the same here. I know how to add a custom keyboard shortcut but run into some difficulties and need help: I started by clicking "Clear All Shortcuts" to make sure I start building my shortcut system from scratch. However numeric keys for example still keep their old function: even if I assign a new command to a numeric key, when I press it keeps setting opacity (a function I do not need shortcut for). My questions: 1. Is there a way I can assign my own functions to the numeric keys? In GIMP I could even assign separate shortcuts for 0-9 keys and NumLock 1-9 keys on the right end of the keyboard. 2. Can *all* keys be customized or are there some that I can not assign my chosen function to? 3. Can I find advanced help/tutorials about customizing shortcuts? For example: how does toggle/cycle work? In the View > Studio menu in Affinity Designer for Mac there is an always greyed out "Show Left Studio" item. I can't find anything in the help topics about this so I would like to know what it does, how to use it, & why it is greyed out. Thanks in advance for your help! -
One thing that always bothered me about the adobe suite was the lack of options for organizing typography so I had to look through lots of fonts to find the one I was looking for if I didn't remember the name of it off the to of my head. It would be awesome if fonts could be organized into folders of my choice so that I could put decorative fonts in one folder, favorite fonts in another, sans serif, serif etc... Having an organized font system would improve my workflow immensely as a graphic designer. As it is now with illustrator picking fonts is a nightmare. (All this would be in the font drop down.)

I'd like the ability to remove tools from the standard palette (in both Photo and Designer), especially subset items. There are so many tools that I don't use that I'd like to remove them, and I'd like the ability to pull commonly used subset items (like Rectangle, Ellipse, etc. from the Shapes tool) and place them on the "main" level. I'm hoping removing unused tools would also remove them from the keyboard shortcuts/toggles (in Photo, for example, "B" cycles between four different tools, two of which I don't use).
