Hello Everybody.. I bought the app yesterday from the iTunes and I was thrilled with its powerful tools and it was a dream came true but not for too long, I was making a project and suddenly the app quit and when I opened it again there was a huge steps that I made hasn't been saved in the document I feel very frustrated and I don't know what to do.. does anyone know what to do? -
Every time I try to change and replace the text's colour it crashes. I've converted it to curves but then I don't know where to change and replace the colour unless I select element by element manually or on the layer panel. Any tips until this bug is sorted? Thanks, IR

I have already purchased affinity designer 1.6.1 for Mac OSX Yosemite the beta 1.6.1 RC1 says I must buy retail version. I thought about inputting my order ID on my receipt through my online account through your retail store but there is no such option. I have tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling, I have restarted my computer after installing the beta. I read that the beta should fix all the crashes happening with this version, which is why I want it to work. are there any other options at this point? does OSX Yosemite not allow for the updates? are there any other beta versions that might work better? -
Hi, When I enable Baseline Grid with Publisher 1.7.0.145 (latest update) then select the text and start scroll using the mouse it crashes. See Video: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1oi1ahi8ad0ncaw/AF Publisher Basline Grid Text Seleted Quits.mov?dl=0 However I then opened another Publisher document and enabled Baseline Grid and selected the text again and started scrolling and it was fine (that file was the one your dev guys fixed as it wouldn't open properly see link to post: Could this be to do with the bug your dev guys found with files not opening and running properly? Hi, 1.6.1.93 gives a crash similar to the ones I had before. The file is attached below. To reproduce it, zoom to around 10-15%, then try moving Artboard1 behind Artboard2 several times. If you try enough, you will get a crash. Crash when moving.afdesign

Why does the app crash when using the refine tool? I'm editing photos using refinement and I've crashed multiple times, using the iPad pro. -
Hi there? I just downloaded AP through recommendation and am loving it so far except that everytime I try to save an image straight to my camera roll on my iPad the app crashes and does not save it. What should I do?

I know you guys are working hard to get the bugs ironed out for the 1.6, but is there any chance of releasing smaller updates?? I love the software, but its starting to be a hinderance at work...i mean it crashes 70% of the time when moving artboards around(mostly i've noticed when moving them far apart or very fast to be precise). It's these smaller silly little things which i think many users are having an issue with. Sketch for example does a great job of releasing updates n fixes often. -
I'm exporting multiple artboards to a PDF multipage document. In AD Beta 4, I get frequent crashes - the program just quits. I know to save before exporting (on any program) but here the crash occurrence is almost predictable. -
I have been trying to paint in AP IOS and experience the app crashing every five minutes or so which results in the loss of all progress. Procreate have a feature which saves whenever the app crashes so that one doesn't lose progress.

Well, I have used Serif products for many years and, until now, been very satisfied. But Affinity Photo is giving me problems and I'm thinking of reverting to PhotoPlus. I have a decently specified laptop running Windows 10 64 bit. My complaints are first that it is very slow to boot up, second and most important, it is unstable and all too often I'm working on a picture and suddenly get the "not responding" message. I have noticed that one of the first indications that the program has stuck is that the crop icon is "faded out". Another thing which may just be a coincidence is that landscape photos seem to be more likely to freeze than, for example, pictures of people. Anybody else have these problems? -
Hello, Just installed AP on my PC, Windows 10, 64bit, 16GB memory. Tried to load a bunch of images and it crushed. BTW is there a way to move between images in AP or you can work only on image at the time? How do you do batch processing then? I didn't get free macros either. Thank you! -
Why I am in the affinity designer to view or scroll to select the font will be particularly slow. Prior to this, my computer installed 7000 + fonts, has removed the 1000 +, but the situation still did not improve, why not do a search font function? Can I get the last version of affinity photo that worked on mac 10.8.5 please !!! 1.5 versions period does not work I can't open raw files with out it constantly crashing it's totally unsuable for me now ! I only have 10.8.5 still because of other apps that no longer support the newer OS and I can't move forward yet can I please just get that last version again please! Nothing was wrong with the last version either I just updated because it said it was compatible and every update has been awesome but this last update is not for me and I cannot edit .cr2 files or .dng files anymore. Give me the last working 1.4 version please and thank you. -
Hi, Anyone experiencing crashes in Photo where you don't even get the usual "Affinity Photo crashed unexpectedly..." message? I've been doing quite a bit of drawing with the brush tool and have had 6 of them over the last two days which also causes me to lose work I haven't saved [luckily I save often but still] and no recovery file available. Some info: iMac late 2009, 27" 2.8 Core i7, 8GB, ATI Radeon HD 4850 512 MB OS X 10.11.6 Have been using it mainly on my Cintiq21UX and somehow I have a feeling it happens when I use the "eraser" part of my stylus. So using the brush as normal, turn over the stylus to erase something, Not 100% sure about it, must keep an eye on it. I've included the crash reports from the last 2 days if they are any help. OSX 10.11 Media browser won't open files in either iPhoto or photos both of which are stored on an external drive. (won't open on board files either) I am experiencing endless Affinity crashes. I would like some advice on how I can access my RAW photos for editing as at the moment I am disappointed with my purchase.
