  1. A problem I run into every time I make the simplest poster.... I come up with a dozen fonts I like and I want to quickly compare them in my design and switch back and forth. How do I do this?? I always end up writing a phrase out on a new doc and setting all the different fonts to compare. Ridiculous. Is there a way to make a font set in Affinity so I can quickly compare??
  2. Hi to all, Considering the crickets I heard with this post on the Affinity on Desktop Questions forum, I'm assuming that the following is not currently possible, and therefore posting here as a request: When editing photos, I will often put two different ideas on two different layers. Let's say "A" is a curves layer where I've put a lot of contrast and "B" a curves layer where I've put only a little contrast. I want to look at one, then the other, to see which idea I like best. As it stands now, the only thing that I seem to be able to do is to uncheck A to see what B
  3. It would be good to be able to compare at least two original, uncorrected, images in the photo library so that, if they are similar, it is easier to decide which to work on.
  4. Does anyone here have a link to or access to a feature comparison chart for Affinity Photo and Adobe Photoshop? I'm asking for a friend — really. My friend is considering either updating to a more recent version of Photoshop CC or else moving over to Affinity Photo. My talking about software is great, but I would also like to show him some resources other than my own enthusiasm. Thanks in advance.
  5. Greetings, I am researching my software choices. Experiences are with Photoshop CS3. I have tried the Lightroom/PS 7 day trial. Someone from another forum recommended Affinity Photo. I am the try before you buy kind of person so a Windows Demo would be nice. But I realized it is not available. I have watched some Affinity Tutorial Video's on Youtube and so far it looks pretty straight forward to learn. I like the Idea of purchasing. I am not keen on giving Adobe a monthly fee to rent their software. Plus after using Lightroom to work with some of my photographs I realized that if
  6. I want to design a sponsorship document (3-4 pages), and I know that Affinity is coming out with a desktop publishing application, but I will also need to be able to create covers with layers of assembled images/maybe some clip art. What would be the better application to accomplish what I want to do? Can Designer handle layers of imported images and alter them, and can Photo create shapes and handle more than touching up existing photos? Thanks.
  7. Hello, Sry, i agree i'm a bit LAZY and not go thru thoroughly through the ocean of the forum, but still searching in a zippy i didn't found my answers, hence writing this ticket. 1. if Team-A wanna fix some error in their Adobe creation by forwarding the project to Team-B with all legal acceptance (via their Affinity product), do team-B need to start over from "Zero" as no support for Adobe's working file extensions? 2. Any Error Fixing/Analysing tools to compete with Adobe's PREFLIGHT, COMPARE(Check out 4th compare tool of Power Styles from Blatner for eg.), Etc. 3. Any Su
  8. Is it really so much better than DrawPlus? Of course this is how it is advertised, but before I buy, I would like to know. I'm using DrawPlus and I like it, but to be honest, I never felt it was serving me completely, so I see a chance here. Thanks for any feedback.
  9. Hello. I love Affinity Photo. I was happy to move from Adobe PhotoShop to Affinity Photo when I first discovered it. That said, there are a number of features that were very useful to me in Adobe PhotoShop that appear to be missing from AP. If some of the following features are in fact missing, is somebody able to tell me when/if they will be included? Full-screen preview shortcut Preview the whole document in full-screen without the borders of the UI with a shortcut command. Just the one shortcut command - not a series of shortcuts. Also, I don't wish to use the 'toggle full screen' opti
